XDA members found a way to side-load Google Play services on Windows 10 Mobile

14 August, 2015
Yes, you read the title right. Some skilled guys over the XDA Developers forum managed to side-load the entire Google Play Services package, including the Play Store, on to a number of Windows 10 Mobile-powered Lumia smartphones.

Anonymous, 14 Aug 2015Project Astoria That is not Windows Bridge (codenamed Project Astoria). Windows Bridge is a development tools allowing to reuse the code to make native apps.

But this is just an Android SDK emulator. Nothing special. Can't even imagine how slow it is on phones. And hardly will work reliably on phones with less than 2GB RAM.

What if they also allow you to side load iPhone apps too .
                              Somehow making it possible.

If that is just an SDK emulator then it's pointless.

If only Google Play Music could be sideloaded into Blackberry 10 alongside the music EQ haha music would sound SWEEEEETTTT!!! However! After a hurtful experience of bricking my LG Viewty back in 2010 by sideloading iPhone themes, I will NEVER ever again compromise the safety of my mobiles again.
