Couldn't help but notice the ad at the top "the rise dominance and epic fall - a brief look at Nokia's history." Is Samsung and the Note story next?

This the first TV ad? I just saw one on the weekend with Chrissy Tiegen playing with the Note 5 and 6 Edge.

AnonD-43677, 16 Aug 2015Again this phone is loaded with too many junks... i love my... moreTrust me. I bought s6 and I'm expecting lots of unnecessary apps preloaded (like in my Samsung S4) but I'm surprised that the only the useful ones are installed. And you have the option to install any of those previously installed bloatware apps on Samsung galaxy series from "Galaxy Apps" app.

So it's cleaner now. And fast.

Again this phone is loaded with too many junks... i love my tab s but i had to disable so many inbuilt applications, which i never use.. it occupies too much space and always eat ino data updates.. i can only disable them, however if i reset application preference they come back... sony gives better experience, but asus is the one i love...samsung says it has bundled 300$free applications so imagine how many junks it is filled with

6 GB RAM module, 4000mAh+ battery module, a 2K or better 6" or greater screen, stereo speaker modules and lastly any module related to connectivity like USB 3.1 Type C. Such a modular phone or better with Windows 10 exe and desktop like support will make it worthwhile to sell my laptop and move onto true mobile computing.

And seriously I think it's dumb when you use creativity to create a flexible edge display but at the same time negate it by following the likes of "bitten Apple" and removing Sd card support (on Lollipop that was partly redesigned to support sd cards. Of course sd card support is a good thing when there are cards out there with r/w of upto 85/40MB per sec) and having non-removable batteries. Hence I've decided to just wait for Google Ara's modular phones so that I could stop wasting money in quickly aging smartphones. I'm alrady waiting to use Tegra X1 or Adreno 530 as the gpu module, octacore cortex a72 or Intel's 2.3 GHz+ processor module, a 21 MP OIS module for the rear, 13 MP OIS module for the front

Seriously though, all technology gets to a point where the improvements are incremental. I still think the next major step is folding or rolling devices but they are a way off.

Where's the innovation which every company brags about. In fact I think smartphone companies including Apple are just doing renovations.Innovation is when you're building or still testing a new product but when it has already been tested it's just holding back in order to deceive the end-user in thinking it's something new.

Why doesn't samsung use Adreno 430 or Power GX6850 or Tegra X1 or at least Mali T760 MP16 (rather than MP8)? What's their problem when they sell phones at such expensive prices? The problem of overheating with snapdragon 810 was with the die size of 20 nm not the gpu. When will the age of power pc computing arrive in a mobile?
When will Samsung chipset managers, even while using a mobile platform made with the end-user in mind, start thinking about the end-user when making a chipset instead of being money collectors?
