Don't think samsung is able to have mixed-use second SIM card slot, which would alternatively accept a microSD card for storage expansion. if it does, he would have annoce in the launch. to add on its benifit.
so far he only best microSD card mix Sim card slot is Meizu. u see only one slot. but only able to put 2 simcard/microSD card.

Note5 is a demonstration of how good it could be if it was a contender with SD card and removable battery.

Its a shame the Note5 is missing critical features.

Maybe Note6 has no audio? Note7 comes with no screen...

Clearly users have embrace sticking with a Note 4 or 3 to have good music / movie / etc storage when they are in a plane, in the desert, anywhere without a capacity or desire to use mobile bandwidth and inform NSA / GCHQ of everything to which they ever watch or listen.

Clearly Samsung sold its customers out to big brother. Boycot Samsung untill if they back down.

Previous Dual Sim Note versions have had one of the Sim card slots only support 2G. Do you know if this is the case with the new Note5? Do both sims card slots support 4G?

I don't think that users will need to embrace cloud storage for more extensive photo and music collections and whatnot.

We will just abandon Galaxy Note 5 entirely.
                    No sd card? No purchase.

AnonD-430755, 17 Aug 2015yeah - crap what is a good alternative for Note 5?LG G4 is the only alternative of the Note if you want a premium phablet with SD slot and removable battery, but the LG G4 Pro should be here in a few months with rumoured to have 5.8" qhd, SD slot, 3600mah removable battery, 27mp ois camera and either Snapdragon 808 or 820 chipset.

I really was shocked that Samsung did not include a micro SD card slot. It seems unusually dumb of them to make this move. As far as I know many other phone makers will continue to support micro SD in future releases. With micro SD cards up to 200GB available I don't get it Samsung. I always recommended Samsung to people in part because you could add storage and replace the battery. This is supposed to be their FLAGSHIP phone.!! We will have to wait to see if becomes their FLAG-FLOP phone.

AnonD-173222, 18 Aug 2015There will be 2 sim card slots, not 2 Micro SD slots :D :D 2nd sim slot can be used as MicroSD slot, it is the way how shamesung rob customers.
Buy extreme expensive 2 sim version or buy 64 expensive version however 3000 mah battery will let you make desicion.

Anonymous, 17 Aug 2015Keep the LetV. It's a better phoe.True it's a beat of a phone but potentially overheating chip set, no stylus adaption & no Samsung Pay make it a little less 'better' than the Note 5.
Why don't GSMarena review LeTV devices?
