      samsung killer !

Its better than the 7420, but isnt even close to the custom Mongoose chips from Samsung

Technology will keep marching on with these companies leapfroging each other on the chipset front. If only there were apps that actually take advantage of all that computing power.

Don't write negative comments without trying it by yourself, remember that competition is the only thing that keeps the big brands in line, whether you like it or not the Chinese brands are the only ones that are forcing the giants to offer more for less.

Exynos M1 aka Mongoose is more powerful than this. Geekbench scores is more than 7k in Exynos M1.

The A57 draws more power than it's predecessor the A15, just as the A53 is not as power efficient as the A7 it replaced.

Now that I have, I would take the whole thing with a bucket of salt (a large bucket at that). It makes no sense whatsoever to pair A72's with A57's, designing a SOC is process of balancing performance against power consumption, the whole big.LITTLE concept is based on this.

This design would performance by the shed load, but would be absolutely impractile from a power consumption perspective, it might as well be called big.BIGGER.

But like the article says this information could be (as most very well likely is) wrong.

I would guess 4xA72's and 4xA53's is more like it, but even then clocking the A72's at 2.4ghz would be risky.

AnonD-375762, 17 Aug 2015Obviously you didn't read the last paragraph. Quote: &qu... moreActually that's a low score considering that it runs A72s @ 2.4 Ghz. I expect the single core to average at 2000+ and the multicore to be closer to 7000.

If 950 runs both A72 and A57s then its "little cores" are as good as the "big cores" of Exynos 7420. Then again it most probably it a typo, this article meant to write A72s+A53s in which case the multi score is correct (a bit more than 6000)...
