LG smartwatch with 1.77-inch screen and CDMA passes through FCC

The Next LG smartwatch is rumored to come with a high-resolution screen at 480 x 480px. While the FCC doesn’t test screen sharpness, at least it was kind enough to measure the screen and snap a photo of the new watch.

    I think smartwatch is really useful to motorcycle riders, where in most case you can't pick out phones while riding.
    And I'm sure no sane rider would put smartphone on their bike dashboard just like car..

      I care more for the battery. Nobody care about ppi on a watch.

        who cares for having 380ppi on a smartwatch? thats gonna drain ur battery. I have my Gear 2 which has 277 ppi and it's more than enough--I get roughly 3-5days on a single charge, normal usage. 300ppi is okay. 326 ppi is also good.

          The only reason why brands like LG, Sony, Samsung make smartwatch is because is to stay in competition. Otherwise no people care to buy smartwatch.

            We don't nees higher resolution. This display going to drain more battery. And the worst part, smartwatch battery is exceptionally small.

World doesn't revolve around you. Square screens are much better for reading text etc and I rather take one any day of the day instead of a circular display.

                    Gear S is the long lasting and forever living legend. No watch in this world cant ever beat the gear S no matter how much the screen PPi goes. Gear S is the mighty smartwatch looking just like a mini galaxy note device on your wrist . Love it :)
