Same thing happened to the grand prime...the galaxy core prime got lollipop update but not the grand prime.

Another reason to dump Samsung, poor software, poor support and loads of bloatware.
I've just had my S4 go kaput thanks to Samsung's version of lollipop screwing my phone up, it won't start, then it will but have a blank screen, so I'll have to restart, then it gets red hot.
I've got a LG G4 on order. Bye Sammy!

[deleted post]So much for Samsungs promises. I was planning to buy the note 4 or s6 mostly because of their beautiful screens, but it seems that their devices are only good if you plan to discard them after a year, otherwise they will be abandoned. I would be pissed if i bought last years note and got stuck with a laggy UI and a bugged OS that drains battery life.
