Can you explain this , when S6 edge were in huge denand as per samsung , but it also got massive price cut proves that indeed there were no demand for S6 edge too.

Even i get it for free i won't be using them.
Samsung tries so many tricks to fanboys/foolboys , like 20 million preorders for S6 and the actual result, we know it now.
This is another tactic like they got overwhelming response for the test drive.
And the guy who claimed that he already got his Test phone is clear lie. Announced on thursday and the guy got his test drive device on friday/saturday.. Lols

Not surprising. I love my note 4, but if apple would have a similar campaign for their next generation iphone, i would certainly try it out.

Stupid move by Samsung, but what to expect when they skipped Europe with the Note. Don't get their focus on the yanks which always prefered Apple. Just completly deluded marketing,

Got to hand it to Samsung. They are looking desperate to the point that now they are trying to attract iPhone users while disregarding their own fan base. I got my Note 5 and loving the device but I believe I'll be one of the few previous Note users to feel this way.
Too many compromises which so little to gain. I give Samsung credit for building a more premium device which fits much more comfortable in one hand use but overall the lack of removable storage and battery, plus the lack of an IR blaster is going to put off many previous Samsung Note fans.

I am not sure with Samsung's timing here.
Before the 30-day trial period ends, Apple will have launched their newest iPhones (early Sep, right?). I think those who participate in this test drive will have a harder time choosing the Note 5 at the the end of their test drive when the 6S Plus is available simultaneously.
It could be the other way around though.
