Noel, 24 Aug 2015Kinda fugly looking with unnecessarily huge top and bottom ... moreCouldnt agree more! Its like huawei was so pleased with their design team after the completion of MATE S ..they sent them away for vacation and got a few interns to design this SHIT for GOOGLE NEXUS!..
Seriously...GOOGLE...GO BACK TO MOTOROLA .... TRY TO MAKE THE MOTO X PURE EDITION your NEXT NEXUS(PLEASE add a FINGERPRINT reader too!)Its perfect in every other way and aesthetically pleasing ...unlike this turd!

Hard to believe they expect buyers buying nexus phones that look this ugly! Its as if it were designed by 2 different people one for front and the other for back(one may be extremely bad at it).. Theres no coherence between the front and back...that hump is way too ugly!

finally, a phone that won't rock on the table while you type. Simply solution for those that don't like cases to get round the sticky out camera issue a la iPhone, S6 etc... Like

I heard that Google and Huawei are testing three models of the Nexus: one with a 3,300 mAh battery, one with a 3,900 mAh battery, and one with a 4,200 mAh battery. The only way I'd get this device if it looks like this, is if it's the model with a 4,200 mAh battery.

Kinda fugly looking with unnecessarily huge top and bottom bezels. Also instead of that hump up top in the back, why couldn't they just make it symmetrical and put in a huge battery to make the extra space useful.
I am looking at images of the Huawei Mate S and wish it would've been the actual Nexus device. Despite its size, it looks sleek with some good specs and a huge battery. Common now...well i guess all my eggs will be on the LG Nexus 5 2015.

AnonD-65736, 24 Aug 2015I had the Mate 7 for a while. Besides for the lack of 4k ... moreThing is they don't have a good reputation. They may be good now, but people in Europe associate them with those cheap and feature phones you'd get for free on subscriptions years ago. Even their logo and name inspires chinese cheapness. Maybe a brand redesign or partnerships like these with google will help their image.

Besides for the lack of 4k shooting, I have no idea why you would not trust them to build a great flagship device.

Why does Huawei have to make the higher end model?... They are a well known low quality chinese brand, LG should've made the higher end one. I have no problem with Huawei making the nexus 5, but I just wouldn't trust them with a flagship, and most people will agree with me, so it's not a smart move by google.

AnonD-286474, 24 Aug 2015That ugly bump at the back, I hated it in the moto DroidI think that is Google patented design. They still own the patent from Motorola despite having sold them to Lenovo. I supposed the kept the design for Nexus devices.
