Pretty sure that the S801 would've been a more suitable choice battery-life wise. Comparing S800 and S801 devices, there's a significant gap in battery life. But oh well let's see, maybe it's a modified S800~

AnonD-338467, 25 Aug 2015LG so 2013... LG fans probably wait till 2017 for Snapdrag... moreif this comment is comming from an apple fan i do accept it even because apple know how to make run processors faster than any other with their os,but if this is comming from an android samsung fan or any other manufacture ..let me tell u that a i prefer a sd800 processor wich is way faster than 410.400.many mtk processors besides it is faster than 615 even it is octacore... sorry but sd rules over others exept for 8x0 line up wich are faster.

If the pricing is right - I'd love to get my hands on this one! S800 is more than capable SoC at that resolution.

Anonymous, 24 Aug 2015not sure how's that lagging. the update was out for 8.3 for... moreThat means lagging behind, it's not my job to go search the Web for the latest software update and have to use a tool to update it myself. I am familiar with rooting and ROMS, but for someone that is not this process would have been a no go. The update should have been send to my Tablet by LG, not me having to pull teeth to update it.

Adi T., 24 Aug 2015It's nice that the screen uses a proper 16:10 aspect ratio ... more*chuckles*, haha ... full apps. I mean they support everything apart from the main input of tablets , touch (veery sketchy support)? Oh you meant that you use kb and mouse? Good luck with your 10 inch netbook...

Point is if you want a laptop buy a proper one, not one with no keyboard. Tablets are for ease of use, laptops/net books are for function, I think you are looking the wrong product category.

Nothing wrong with hybrids/net books though (surface 3 or other 10 inchers), they're just harder to use than proper laptops (13 inches and up). Ultra portables have their place, they are really just.no.tablets. ..

Having said that there are no 16:9, never were. There are some laptops with that resolution (windows machines)...

The problem with LG is that they lag behind in updates. I had to go find the lollipop update myself and update from 4.4 kitkat using the LG update software tool for my LG G Pad 8.3.

if they run's like LG G pad 8.3 or better i will buy it...i love the G pad 8.3, its a beast, but the 10.1 of this eat a lot of ppi...so, it will make this device look like a cheap tablet!

SD800 is good, and it performs better that actual SD801 on my LG G3...i expect better display and atleast 3GB of RAM...and ofcourse 32 internal storage, 16GB isnt enouht even with microSD slot!

but i dont belive the back of this are metal like G Pad 8.3 and get hot and hot...so, i think it will sell well...and sure, the pricetag have to be under 300$ to make it a sucess.
