M42, 03 Sep 2015The iPhone copied the HTC M7 and the rumored phone looks to... moreNot true. The iPhone 5S looked similar to M7, but the design was completely different. For a start, m7 had stereo speakers, while 5s didn't have. M7 had a curved body, while 5s was a rectangular slab. Also, do you notice that there are no stereo speakers in this new HTC aero? So, the aero is a complete ripoff of iPhone 6s. Hell they even copied the colours. Not just me, but this phone is getting negative feedback about the design area. http://m.androidcentral.com/htc-one-versus-iphone-5

People who are telling this phone doesn't look like iPhone are blind HTC fanboys. This phone looks NO WAY similar to M7. It looks like an exact iPhone 6S ripoff. That's the truth, fanboys. Accept it. But HTC shouldn't have done this. They should have stuck to the M9 design. If this rumour turns out to be true, prepare for a lawsuit against HTC. Apple sued Samsung, now htc is next.

I think the whole debacle of who copied who is a false issue (since the two companies already have their agreement). Far more important is how HTC has been constantly failing in the market, how the phone with the bitten apple logo far surpassed their sales (with virtually the same looks), how this design by the hands of HTC isn't getting any better as the years go by and (ALARMINGLY) how HTC refuses to take action to correct their situation.

                The market has spoken:
                - We don't want "innovative cameras", we want tested and proven cameras with universally recognized picture quality.
                - If you are adding a bezel then make it as small and useful as possible!
                - You can't sell at a premium price if you don't keep up with current technology (screen and cameras).

                Personal opinion:
                - If you want to command a premium price, then you can't have your device look like a cheaper imitation of a better selling product. Yes, I know your M7 is the original, but (in this picture) your phone looks like the cheapish chinese knock-of of the iPhone. I think it's the "shininess" and the color, but it's really bad for a supposedly premium product to have this initial impression.

When will HTC drop that bottom bezel? If you want room for the HTC logo, just print it on the 'home' / finger print reader button.

Can you see the boomsound speakers in the picture? Too blur, but the famous black bar seem pretty legit.
HTC is out of their mind

This article is a total FAIL, why would GSMarena say htc copied apple??? when basically everyone here knows apple copied the htc one M7 . Please dont confuse those that do not have this information, and also refer to your previous article if you are confused too.

Can't believe a site like GSM Arena would post such an article. The writer is very misinformed.

a.) It's the other way round, the iPhone is inspired by HTC's 2013 flagship, the One M7.

b.) HTC and Apple have an agreement to avoid taking each other to court over any matters. They payed HTC alot of money. Hence they were able to adapt the HTC One M7's design onto the iPhone 6.

The pseudo-writer should really be fired, such a mistake is really obnoxious for a site like this.

Dead center or not camera, if HTC slammed a logo of an apple, instead of its own, could possibly ring Apple's sirens. I'm still patiently and currently waiting for a barrage of articles of a new set of class-action lawsuits by Apple
