Smaller version of next-gen Moto 360 gets compared to last year's model

27 August, 2015
Motorola still hasn't announced its follow-up to last year's Moto 360, but if we go by the amount of leaks we're seeing about the next-gen smartwatch, that should happen soon.

Make new watch smaller, less functional and much uglier than its predecessor.
I wonder how this is going to turn out ;)

While I get why it needs to exist, other round smartwatches by other manufacturers have managed to avoid needing it with various other tricks, which is a shame as it is kind of glaring on the otherwise-nice 360 design.

Lose the bezels & make it thin like a (double) coin (?) AGPS & IP67 needed.

Also confirms more and more that Moto will indeed go with the lugs for strap. This change while small, transforms the design from iconic, to just common. What a shame, looked forward to design like first gen, but better performance.
