FYI :- The minimum requirement for 4k video is 8MP!!!!!! It was just a bait to check if you got your facts!!!!!!!

No LED Flash for selfie? Lol even HTC Desire Eye has better camera for selfie than the future iPhone 6S then. Poor Desire Eye is so underrated, it has 13MP camera on back and front (the front has LED Flash, really helps with taking selfie in low-light condition), stereo speakers (hello Apple, will you finally add it for 6s?), water resistant. Basically, if you loves to take photos and hear music, it's the phone for you. But if you're also a hardcore gamer, then maybe this iPhone 6s will suit you

the topic was only about quality and mostly foto quality, when it comes to video quality, for me, all 4K mobile videos are crap, they lag, they have problems with low light and the momory gets filled instantly. 4K at this point is more for marketing and you will in most cases get the better videos when using 1080p in 60fps or even only in 30fps.
i didn't quite get the point with the apple sensor, at this time its more like apple calls the camera sensor manufacurers and gives them a tender abut the specs of the needed sensor. the companys than decide if they are able to fulfill the requirements and if so, they make a offer and a price. the next step is negotiations and in the end apple and for example sony have a contract and than they start to produce the sensors.
in this case this is a bit different than it is with the A7,8.. chips. the developement of the camera sensor is made by sony and it is produced by sony but it is designed to apples specifications, so the need to have certain specs but sony can decide how to realize it. the apple processors are designed by apple and only manufactured by lets say samsung. so samsung provides the machines and guarantees the quality and the amount for a certain price, but they do net design the chip. i am quite sure that some samsung and apple engeneers sit together and discuss what is possible and how to adapt the chip design to match the manufacturing standarts but not much more.

4K video. You won't get much on a 16 GB model if Apple are still launching a 16 GB models
A 12 mp camera it's still behind par but it will be a first for them as every one else went straight from 8-13 mp on flagship handsets.

8mp camera can only do so much (it is mere speculation that 8mp of Iphone is better than Sony's 21mp), 4k which is included now cant be done with 8mp(4k in phones except IOS phones came a looooong time ago) so dont state MP is not important!!!!
When Apple can make their own Sensors then we can discuss this!!!

Perhaps apple will discontinue 16gb, and start sell off with 32gb as base model and upto 256GB as top notch.

Android is not made to fit the thousands of OEM's creating Android devices. That is the trade off. That is why it needs the beastly specs just to run. The Android market is too fragmented which also leads to poor updates! if your phone will even be getting an update! For example met with external partners (Huawei) a few weeks back who confirmed that they dont push out updates very often! Straight from the horses mouth...

iOS 9 and Metal integration in the camera app as well as all other apps (metal is now a requirement) Takes care of everything mentioned in the above qoute directly from your mouth. And btw the cameraq app already does all of that :/ so dont see how you can say apple should learn from it. if it's already implemented?

I'm saying that the ram management of the note5, if it always closes background apps, no matter how few they are, probably has a bug.
If it's however an matter of optimization, to ensure you will get the most out of your hardware anytime you need it, then it's a good feature. Why would you want the best CPU on the market, just for it to run background apps?
iOS closes background apps, it just waits longer to do so. While wasting some battery and some resources as long as those apps are active.
The camera is quite resource heavy, and you want all resources to make the most of your pictures, if it's for live view of HDR which Samsung has. Or if it's to be ready for continious shooting. Or if it's to be ready if you start video recording. Well then thats a good thing, that apple and others should take after. The same applies for giving you the best gaming performance. Those were some examples in the video people like to share to show the performance issues of the Note5. Like I say I dont have it, so I cant test it.
And in general use, if it saves you battery, if there is a cap, at lets say 5 apps to stay active in the background, while not feeding you any data (like audio), or collecting data (tracking your activities), but is just a app that sits there, well then that is a good thing too, cause you will hardly be jumping back and forth between so many apps.
4K recording, requires the right support by the hardware. A GPU that can handle encoding. So no, you dont need an octacore CPU. And having an octacore CPU does not automaticaly mean you can have 4K recording.
With some bugs, it has taken a while even with iOS.
And for bugs, you usually get updates quickly on android.
If you read about updates taking time, those are updates to new versions of Android. Those thus in some cases deal with small bugs, but bugs that users don't really notice. But noticeble bugs are often on the makers overlying skin or in their drivers for parts, and that gets corrected quite quickly.
And that Apple maps thing, is that even over yet? I now it's gotten pretty good, but can it really compete with Google or Here, yet?
