i figure the die hard must have removeable battery fans , are the same ones who go buy an after market battery with a much higher rating, slap it in, and fry there phone. then slap back in the original. and send it in for manufacturer defect.

This looks amazing!... people complaining about the phone being top heavy when open.. but it's the keyboard that's going to be the heavy end so the balance will be ok.. not hard to figure out

The number of megapixels does not always translate to the quality of pictures. Consider apple's 5s which has only 8 MP yet the quality of picture it produces can be even better with some 13 MP out there.

Anonymous, 29 Aug 2015another awkward mobile. Now blackberry does not belive its ... moreBlackberry believes in its own operating system but it can't sell on its belief. And you cannot survive on your own belief if your belief is 'getting work done' while what the world wants is one word 'entertainment'. You gotta make adjustments and that's what blackberry is doing

I love the way Blackberry has adopted to Android; also with cute looking curved edge and a stylish qwerty keyboard that will attract anyone. They have also installed an 18 MP cam; Samsung is still hanging to their 16 MP even on their flagship Note 5. What we have to be afraid is the price that they are going to put, which could be very high, as high as an Iphone.

i would love BB everytime they come with a new device...b'coz of venice & Blackberry would love andoid also...what more appeals to me is the Blackberry Hub on android powered venice...the andoid notifications are just pathetic & could not be traced.

Personally I see this as a good design, surely there will be enough people around who would need such a robust product as BB. However one needs to remember that BB is still a recovering brand and certainly not yet out of the woods, especially when one considers such a fiercely competitive market, now made even more competitive with the presence of now well established Chinese brands. Should this particular model be overpriced, then obviously BB would be killing one potential goose that was about to lay a golden egg, thus by default could jeopardize BB's hopes for an early recovery.

I hope that Nokia will also consider putting Android OS to their device. Their build quality is outstanding.

If it costs expensive, consider other band is better.

This design baffles me. Its a two handed qwerty keyboard that will be horrendous to hold with the weight of such a large screen above it. Sure some people will be happy to type with one finger, but pressing on a mechanical keyboard with one finger against tapping on the screen? Sheesh BlackBerry! Go home you're drunk.

Hopefully they have solved the issue of failing flex cable after using the slide out hardware keyboard enough many times. Many of these slide out keyboard phones had issues with failing flex cable in the past years.
