Will get the z5 Compact when next due an upgrade. For some of us, more of the same is exactly what we want. Others have shinier gimmicks, I have a phone I can rely on.

Z5 compact should have 1080p display, Z5 should have QHD 1440p display, then Z5 will look more logical with UHD. why Sony doesnt want to give QHD out for global markets

4K screen tech on Z5 premium is said to be usage adaptable, it will lower to 2K if 4K not needed...good for battery life :)

beautiful looking and crafted phone ( that Chrome... WoW ), best camera on a phone to this date(23 mpx with 0.03 s autofocus speed(what?how?), up to 23 mpx automode) best screen ever(oh, look at that blacks and viewing angles), waterproof, soundsystem, RemotePlay...

I already had two Xperia's, a ZL and Z3, and both of them had the yellow spot problem on the display, due to the heating I guess. So as good as it may sound, they wont fool me again with it.

Nice phone but about time you moved the on screen buttons there is pleanty of room under the screen.
For this reason only which is a massive bugbear of mine I will not be getting this.

Anonymous, 01 Sep 2015Solved the overheating problem, sure if you want to be thro... moreAfter the last update I heard they solved it , the device doesn't overheat that much , still it's not why I've expected but for now , this is what they can do , SD820 is not out yet , and SD808 can't power these devices , I'll wait for the professional reviews after hands-on , based on that I'll decide I'm using Sony devices Since W850i and I've never changed them looks this year is gonna be different , Apple here we come ;)
