I've had the Z1, Z2, and Z3. My 1993 Sony Trinitron TV still works today. It sounds like you don't take proper care of your products.

Really, you can just use a free app like 3c toolbox (android tuner) and turn off two of the A57s and have a soc that's as good or better in every way (gpu, memory bandwidth, etc.)
Personally, with the increased ICP of the little cores and comparable performance to 28nm A15s, I plan on likely shutting off the big cores altogether.
The performance of 4xA53s @ 20nm/1.5GHz is more efficient and uses less battery than a bigLITTLE setup of 4xA15+4xA7 @ 28nm/1.8GHz,1.3GHz found in Galaxy Alpha's exynos. With a HD screen and my setup, the Z5C could be like SD410 on cracking (efficient but fully capable performance)
And if you must have the A57s, it has the best thermal/energy/performance balance at up to 1.6GHz. Many don't know that the 20nm process is better for low clockspeeds and not the high ones trying to be pushed in the newer socs. FinFet helps reduce leakage enough that it won't heat as much...that's the real secret behind Exynos 7's performance - the fabrication process.

SONY has been all over the place with their cell phones for several years now. They have no clear direction with their products, and obviously are not interesting in making a great phone, or in listening to what their buyers really want.
Now, here comes the highly-anticipated Z5, but guess what? It's just more of the same-old-same-old again and again, only slightly tweaked in areas that nobody cares about. What do we want? We want 4GB RAM, 1080p HD screen (not 4K), excellent call performance in the field, and a great camera. Waterproof is good, but not a big deal. Most people don't go swimming with a $700 cell phone in their pocket. Come on SONY! But, the most important thing is "price it to sell"....SONY products are way over-priced....make it available everywhere in the world at the same time, and back it up with World-Class service. SONY customer service sucks worldwide, and always has. Take a lesson from Apple, Chick-fil-A and Lexus if you want to be on top of your game. Otrherwise, go home.

I just don't understand why you would put a 4k display in the premium version but not put in a QHD display on the main flagship? Makes no sense to me.

AnonD-1034, 31 Aug 2015We dont want a liar and troll here so getout!well im not trying to throll any one here but to be honest and using common sense guys sd810 overheats even gsm arena blogs and many others stated that....if u know a bit of tech and u know what overheats means u ll realize that this impact badly battery life,display and bord in the worst scenario...if these sd810 powered devices overheat just with 1080 p display imaging pushing 4k resolution 8 times hd resolyion meaning 4 full hd display capacity...the screen will be sharp and all good stuffs but if they are not comming with any kind of new technology battery or any cooling system on processor or even a really big battery then after almost 3 on screen hours device will be ended buddy .

I think something is wrong. The news must not be true. Bcuz sd810 can't handle 4k display. Maybe there is more powerful cpu or just qhd display. I think one of them is true
