I really like how Sony did not improve the Z5C over the Z3C by much.
Now the price for Z3C will plummet the same how the Z1C price has plummet when Z3C was released. Great!
Now Z3C will finally get a good price/performance value, because at the release, Sony (as always) overpriced their products (which are unarguably good or even great).
I'm currently eyeing Z3C to buy next year when the price will be really really low :D

You already know what I think, I would prefere the old power button, even if that meant loosing the fingerprint scanner....

The designs are very very boxy. Perfect rectangle. Could have been better. With that box like design and thickness, Sony should have crammed a larger battery inside those smartphones, well that's what I expect but recently all smart phones manufactures have gone crazy with the prioritisation of gimmicks rather than functionalities.

Man, I know what it is now.. it looks like they're both wearing some dinky-coloured silicon protective case. Really having a hard time warming to this design. :/

The uniform colour of the Z5 makes it appear very toy-like, and the small overhang of the edges both front & rear cheapens it significantly. If they refresh & produce a Chrome version in 6 montths I might consider it, however... I hate it how the Compacts always get the toy colours, though.

Dear Sir,
Why Z5 series have gone with the same battery as of Z3+ and front camera also the same as we were expecting a better battery then z3+ and also a front camera of same one ?? The heating problem in z3+ is there the processor used in it is same it is having the same issue or not.Why sony makes very less difference from their old version and give their phone in market while samsung makes a lot of difference from old version then throw it in market We were expecting fast charging say in 30 minutes full charge its also the same the display ppi in Z5 and Z5 compact is also the same or less
Plz answer my query As I am a Fan of Sony but these things leads to less sales

It's less powerfull than an underclocked SD810.... morelg and motorola flagships are using it.
would have been better if they launched one more phone with sd808.

Best moment to buy the Z3 compact, which has the imho better Snapdragon 801, better design, bigger battery and less weight at the same time.

Yesterday I saw the devices and is really awesome design. No more heating guys, I tried capturing 4k in it for about 20 Mins and the camera never turned off. These are the best devices. Especially the Xperia z5 Premium its freak out my mind with its resolution. The best 4k Display and it upscales your normal video aswell to 4k guys... Hats off Sony

Really honestly compliments/congrats to Sony! Really excellent job! Absolutely well done and definitely keep it up! !!! Great 3 devices (Z5/Z5 P/Z5 C) and obviously, mostly, for the pioneer 4K Display!!! & the 200GB SD Card! Upgraded Camera! Too (& plus the Dual Sim option, better Sound, & fingerprint too! ) really congrats to Sony! !!!! (Really the devices to buy )

It's less powerfull than an underclocked SD810.
And the GPU is less powerfull.
Upon release, the SD808 SOC was cheaper, which meant it had better peformance/price ratio, than the underlocked SD810.
But perhaps qualcomm has dumped the prices on the SD810.

SD810 and the huge top/bottom bezels that remain from the Z3 turn me off. I was hoping for something with a little bit better form factor this time around. No improment in side bezels is disappointing also.
