I thought that this comment forum was created in order to make people can share their REAL experience or VALID information to the relates topic, not just share their negative opinion without ever used it... Furthermore, it is common nowdays, a big company like Samsung, Sony etc. have their own digital social media team to ensure there is no black campaign from competitor... So do not surprise if actually they who are fighting here are Samsung's paid officer vs Sony's paid officer...

I could be wrong, but still:

We wanted more power, so they went dual core.

We were not happy. We wanted more power. They said it would cause some issues. We didn't listen to them. We kept insisting on more power, so they went quad-core.

We were not happy. We wanted more power. They said again that issues would come. But we didn't listen - we kept bugging them. They upped the clocks.

We were still not happy. We wanted even more power. They said it would overheat. We were so consumed by our thirst for power, that we became so impatient. And so we insisted. They went eight-core.

The SD 810 is the SoC we deserve. So while yes, it may be the OEM's fault for not designing solutions to whatever problems it may have had, we have to remember that this is what our thirst for power gave us.

              ----------------------------

So now if you don't like SD 810 or whatnot, remember that THERE ARE ALTERNATIVES - we can thank the free market. NOBODY IS FORCING YOU TO BUY THIS.

We are free to make choices, but please let's respect other people's preferences.

By definition this means that performance will be even lower on a 4k screen since on all GPU's increasing the resolution will result in worst performance.

This is in theory since Snapdragon 810 can not reach it's advertised performance level because of it's overheating issues. In real life scenarios, the Adreno 430 inside the Snapdragon 810 looses most of it's power after a couple of minutes of usage and this is on 1080p screens, since there is no QHD screen equiped device with the S810 inside.

I hope the camera emperor of all time ( SONY ) has something new on the camera department of this phone in quality aspects, if they decide to equip their phones with their quality camera which they already own in the company who would buy another phone except SONY
