I have it for over a month now and i wouldnt change. It's more pocket size than Nexus One/Iphone, it is fast enough (with its 500something Mhz processor) and the full keyboard is a must. I recommend it. Feel free to inquire at landovsky (at) gmail com.

Doesn't SE have an Android running phone already?... Xperia X10 already makes SE part of the top 5 mobile phone manufacturers that offer Google OS devices.

klrbee, 19 Jan 2010i have the phone, and it is quite nice. touch screen is ok,... moreYour argument is very stale, 99% of people will just laugh at you. What century are you in? 1999? In case you ain't noticed pal, by 2015 smartphones, NOT dumbphones, are projected to be the dominant web browser overtaking desktops, laptops and tablets. Nowadays, 'Phones' have Qualcomm 1ghz-1.5ghz processors, ARM Cortex 8 and have future resoultions of 1420 x 480 in the case of the upcoming winmo7 powered LG rumoured for September 2010. I do agree however that camphones should be an SLR's job until they can fit a bigger sensor into the smartphone's circuits. You must still be using a monochrome screen whilst everone else has moved on.

i have the phone, and it is quite nice. touch screen is ok, not great but enough for making calls, qwerty keyboard works great, better than n97 that is for sure. gps is really fast. camera could be better and lack of media proper media player lets the device down.
besides that, to all whining about size of the screen, processor speed, and memory ... get a laptop for running games and apps, dslr for taking pictures ipod for listening to music... it is just a phone

It's an awesome phone especially for the price, got everything you need wifi, bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, touchscreen, qwerty keyboard, 1500mAh battery, 5MP Camera with LED. sure the OS needs updating but LG is going to provide an eclair update so what's not to like for a competing device around the same money?

Nagendra Anubhukta, 18 Jan 2010Horrible Phone, Very Poor Touch Response, Very Very Bad Rad... moreI agree but at the same time this is quite comfortable and very intimate phone. So I felt it very friendly and quite useful. As I know it also got the Design prize by IF.... anyway, I think every person has their own taste..;)

beside the cheap price (it gotta be cheap or it's no good) there's so much not to like about this phone. first of all it's kinda ugly , i won't go for the look. it's Android 1.5 not 2.0 (of course i don't know if there's an update to 2nd version for this phone yet). it's Resistive not Capacitive so for me it's kinda of a let down (resistive screens getting to get really responsive and enjoyable though , and i haven't tried the phone yet). it supports 256k no 16m colors , of course it's not a big deal for me i'm even comfortable with a 65k device but for many gadgets fan it would be a let down. the resolution is kinda low so display won't be that crisp and sharp.
to sum up , it's a very beatable by many other android phones so i say the only good thing about this device would be the low price tag and of course if LG won't set a fair price tag for this device i don't think it'd be a hit at all , specially with the HTC and Motorola android phones taking their place on the market.

Hopefully this is cheap. The resolution is a let down however.

Make it capacitive touchscreen and give it a 1ghz processor. The QWERTY keyboard can ensure it will be as successful as Motorola Droid.(though not in term of screen resolution, but that's room for improvement isn't it?)
