Live photos offer the first real look at the Nokia C1 Android phone

07 September, 2015
The screen resolution has been promoted to 1080p according to the latest leak, unfortunately  the pics offer no proof of that.

Price at 20% lower than Zenfone2.
It will be a reasonable one, since it is launched later than Zenfone2.

Wow... Nokia really gave up on everything didn't they? No design, the most mainstream OS, no outstanding features... Shouldn't be allowed to use the name "Nokia" for this piece of plastic mainstreamness..

I doubt Nokia could tug Symbian OS to the peak again for their first comeback phone. As no credible entity could confirm or is certain as of late, I highly doubt Symbian will resurface as an 'immediate' competitor to popular mobile OS's. On basic/feature phones maybe but not much on smartphones, especially on high end devices. Has Symbian kept up with the times or did it get caught up? Beats me. In the event it surprises us with its 2nd big bang, will it be able to keep up with the times? Beats me when all things connected and integrated are smart and have been flooded with major mobile OS's such as BB, Windows, iOS, and Android. In the event that it manages to resurface, it could be different but there might be nothing noble to see or experience unless they did some major rebuilding from the ground up. If, however, they come up with a strongly clean OS, as clean as a blank sheet of paper, prospects might hesitate on an OS that may lack general, common, or familiar features, apps, or other native hardware and, likewise, software support. Someone would wish not to come too clean that the OS might leave features or apps to be either unfamiliar or unsupported. If Nokia is to go with Android, don't forget that they'll be new to that ecosystem

is that a two tone flash under the camera?..i hope they get to retain the design philosophy that they had on their microsoft-nokia (lumia) models; they're the only ones who get to make great looking "plastic" phones, or else they might look like another chinaphone (this one looks quite like a meizu imo)
