08 September, 2015
Thinner but with a camera bump, the LG Nexus 5 (2015) might also be called Nexus 5X.

that bump is like a pimple. no matter how much you try to deny its existance its still gonna poke you in the brain to squeeze it. better they could have thickened the phone and rather fit a bigger battery instead of that measly 2700mah for a phone that size.
i personally prefer flat backs over curved ones because the flat ones dont wiggle when you place it on a flat surface.. and that bump will be a see-saw pivot.

AnonD-77443, 08 Sep 201532GB and no SD card = A JOKE. I know there is cloud but ... moreAgree...should be 32/64GB options since it seems there will be no SD card slot, unless Google surprises us with an SD slot like the N1. I am probably leaning against buying this due to the 2700mAh battery which is just a mere 400mAh increase from the 2013 N5. Unless the price is very attractive and reviews show good battery stamina.

gah, 08 Sep 2015That looks a whole lot like a Microsoft 640Backside, yeah. Edges are very much LG like. Yet those black edges are ugly. Edges should be white, just like backcover. Front should be all black. Yet probably going to be black with gray screen, as it was on LG Flex 2, so no black color.

i dont know why you people whinning about snap 808. it isnt that bad, i already seen it perform on lg g4, and i dont see any problem with it. it is not a benchmark beast, i know, but it still a good soc, lets hope this nexus price tag isnt as high as burj khalifa in dubay.

I really don't undestand why manufacturers insist on such low capacity batteries instead of making the phone a little bit thicker and putting in proper-sized batteries, given the amount of power needed these days with all those connected wearables, etc. This is probably coming from the Apple copy-cat behavior of Android manufacturers. They just can't help themselves.

Qualcomm does and SD810 is more than well known. Great little thing to run a quick benchmark, then you will quickly go back to pre-2014 levels of performance as it throttles down and down.

Yay, you praise a manufacturer for pre-throttling the SoC, good for you.
Meanwhile do realize that, for the long haul, that "2014 level of performance" is pretty much the best you can reliably get from Qualcomm as of now.

It's like wine, 2015 wasn't a good year for Qualcomm crops, deal with it!
