What a deal on Snapdeal........If you do not want this specification then you can think of buying to your loved ones for sure like Daddy, Mommy, Friend, Brother or Sister who are not too much on High Specification because this is Awesome....Use it and then Discard/Sell if you dont need

There is always chase like Tom n Jerry...every six months u have new version of Android...so dear friends it is not wise to purchase costly phones...use for six or twelve months and sell it...then go for new model.

Do some work, earn money and get out of your poverty. You don't need to beg to those who have money. Many people earn their wealth by doing hard work. Do the same and you should be good to own even overpriced iPhones, samsungs or Sonys. And you won't even have to put a rubber band around them. :)
P.S. India is third biggest market for top-end (so called overpriced) smartphone makers after China and US. So, from business perspective, it's still better than many other countries for these companies.

The performance is very similar (for example, atutu is around 20.000 for Yu and around 18.000 for Doogee), screen is not low res by any means, its 720p and it looks very good on 5" (its a similar pixel density to iphone 5s)

I have a samsung gs3, three years ago, that was the best phone on the market
and after three years ... this phone has a better cpu than my device, and other specs are almost the same :)
(on the OS part, I use a 5.1.1 rom, so yes, same :D )

It's using A7 cores instead of A53 which means that is half as fast.
Also 5mp instead of 8mp rear camera.
Lastly with such low resolution, a bigger screen is probably a bad thing as it decreases the PPI way too much.

If u can't afford, don't buy. Simple. That doesn't mean Samsung/HTC/iPhone are wrong in charging what they do. Brand swells. Quality sells. YU phones are nothing compared to Samsung/iPhone build,tech,ecosystem and talk after 3-4 months of using.leave after sales aside. Not that they are bad. They are good value for money. But generally calling all Indians poor is wrong.

So th... moreWe are not a communist country, i have money and I pay my taxes....Should i still use mobile with rubber bands?Out of 130 crores only 4 crore people pay taxes out of which 80 lakhs are govt employees like me whose tax is deducted at source.With so much of reservations and quotas and after 65 years of Independence still if people are poor then either they lack hard work or just too lazy....God save this country with such thinking....Rich will be rich since poor dont want to work and enjoy all facilities with the tax payers money.....

Indians are not poor but those who are rich making it poor. When you are ordering expensive food on the other side there is a family sleeping just drinking water. This is the condition of India. Yu has done right in developing Phone which can be afford by everyone mainly by the those customer who do not have much and want to use all the possible features. Those who think that its ridiculous may abstain from commenting.
