Ya'll just babies! in the business world of today, every bodys doing what is necessary to keep head above waters, so to say. So if anybodys pulling u down, do just what is right. Sony is taking a big risk making this 2Day battery life move which is the betterment of the end consumers which is what I think is Good for them, for Us.... I personally think iOS has the best O.S so far yet am an android person. but when u get to pay a lot for Virtually everything on the OS so whats the use? Android is easier to use and different companies bring very wonderful but not 100% specs when it comes to perfecting the mobile device. the iphone in the first place was the device that gave all other companies the right to put up such prices on mobile phones today so why support it? other phones have better cameras and batteries even the 4k display on d Z5 is revolutionary! so tell me, why bragg about the i Phone huh? for years they just bringing people 2GB Ram? now how can u proove to me that thats not slavery and monopolization when u got phones that will give u more for less? I just think we just too obsessed with getting what we want instead of what we need meeehn! What can an Apple device basically do that other phones cant do....... What do I need In a device, which is necessary, others cant do huh? Oh well, I guess we blinded...... #Bless Ya'll, am out!

If you want people to upgrade on a yearly basis, give them a battery that basically forces them to upgrade since the amount of charge cycles it needs eventually is what kills it.
If you buy a Sony with two days battery life, you charge it less which in turn extends the effective battery life of the phone, resulting in you holding onto the phone for longer, which, sadly, doesn't bode well for sales.
Now if only we could reach a happy medium here, we the consumer would gain, but that again will hot the pockets of the "investors", and we know how much they really need those extra millions.
Sorry guys. Us consumers have lost from the word go.

It's like picking the perfect tv or car. Do you buy a car because it's easy to use? Or a tv because it's easy to use? No, you chose the one that suits you for your needs. I like trucks because I'm a man and have manly things to do. I don't buy fruit phones because they don't suit my needs nor are they manly. I find android, blackberry and windows phones easy to use. We are now in an age where we can go on youtube (owned by Google) and find out how to use things we never understood before or how to do an engine swap. But if you state that fruit-roll-ups are easy to use then I hate to see you only using a microwave to make your meals. You might want to venture out and learn how to cook, meet women who LOVE a real man who knows how to do an oil change on her car, cook for her, repair her tv, computer, patch the leather on the couch and so on. But if you like simple then I would recommend you have your mom help you find an easy woman too. Hopefully she has an android phone so she can teach you how to Spackle, lay tile, lay wood flooring, paint the inside and outside of the home, cook and teach you where to put your thing inside of her thing.

Good work Sony, the so called innovators always love bragging and slagging off other brands but this is a new low from Sony though.
The great thing about Sony is the battery life of their Xperias are amazing and not just false marketing unlike some manufacturers.
Hope the Z5 premium sells well its gorgeous!

had 1 z1, 3x z3compacts. good battery, self cracking screens and lacklustre 20mpx camera. horrible support from sony and they take petty digs at competitors.
sony fan gone to sony hater here.

When will companies learn that "having a dig" is counterproductive?
Sony, start selling volumes like Apple, then have a dig at them. You're not winning consumers over by being a hater.

I dont know how is in other countries,
but here in indonesia sony is known for its bad after-sales service.
The service center only gives promises like "Your phone will be taken into repair in a minimum of 2 weeks and maximum of 2 months". But.. in fact they had to wait more than the promised repair period, even until 2 months, 3 or even 4 months. And a lot of them are currently left wondering about their devices' status for months. Also some users had to have their devices replaced fully but not like their previous device (such as different device colour than the previous device they bought), and this is of course after a lengthy repair progress too.

Everybody accusing each manufacturer of copying... I think you'll find Apple created the first of its generation smartphone that we see the evolved versions of today, Apple perfected what we call Apps today. Everyone takes ideas from eachother and tries to improve or perfect tha technology. It's great to live in a world where companies can take similar ideas and try and improve them. Comments like they use the same metal to craft the phone are pathetic, do Nike fans call Adidas copycats because they made their new football jersey with cotton as well! Grow up guys.

I bought a windows phone for my mom this moth because it's the simplest OS for smartphone and reasonable price and I'm in love with lumia camera app I wish Android will do the same job with their camera software its so much capable than both IOS/Android

u know what guys most u live under a rock and ask me why... well all and i say allllll manufactures borrows specs from another ones.. the diffrence is on how good they use it.iphone used to use lg screens and samsung processors even being constructed in china,lg phones uses sony sensors or samsung ,more interesting samsung uses sony sensors too,for their almost perfect cameras,how interesting cinnese brands use amoled screens from samsung and sony sensors ...sony apple and saumsung wanted to use motorola id sensor idea... but samsung and sony use the technology same way apple does....... so who is copying to who... all manufactures are like a family the fight for syupid things...about parts but more stupid are the customers who fight blind with the truth in front of them ...
