I would strongly recommend that SE do not set the price of this device too highly. Priced correctly and with stable firmware it could sell well and assist the company's fortunes.

The first time I saw the leaked photos I thought 2 myself what an ugly phone,but now better pics hav been leaked and I am truly amazed with its beauty,design is original.My only grievance is the OS,seriously!, Im a little fed up of it.Ive used both SE n Nokia phones with this OS n both products always reboot n freeze at some point in time(major problem with symbian)other than that its ok.2010 wud love 2 try an android OS cud b X10,HTC BRAVO or NEXUS.If I get greedy I cud still see myself ownin this haha.

not so much a symbian fan but design wise finally something new.. at least we wont get people calling it an iphone copy..good work on se on their first hd video recorder

now SE know that should attract all groups of people
some people especially in asia love symbian and asia is the largest market so SE is making some for them
some people especially in europe love winmo so SE is making some for them
some people especially in america love android so SE is making some for them
good strategy from SE in my opinion
and the most important thing:
x1:released 8 month after announcement
satio:released 8 month after announcement
look at x2:released 3 month after announcement
look at x10:will be released 3 month after announcement
look at vivaz:will be released 2 month after announcement

i just love symbian, but i also love Sony Ericsson!
So, i have Nokia bcause of symbian, but i dont like Nokia design at all (i always prefered SE design, i even created themes for symbian inspired by SE default themes)!
This means next: BINGO! Sony ericsson with symbian series60 5th edition UI is BINGO!
And im glad that SE did it (i didnt like UIQ interface at all)!
i also believe that there is a lot of opinions like mine!
If only the price of this beauty (or price of SE satio) would be normal, that would definitely be my next phone, and i would be happy to leave nokia...
But, the price is not normal :(

anyone imagine that telephone like SATIO has the i phone applications ?? why dont we see a camera and design from sony and software and applications from i-phone !!! if that happened ... i think all the other phones company will broke out

ok guys well I must agree with you if it was an andriod phone it would have been amazing. Yet, I think it's a remarkable phone and is very unique.
And come on all of you wining about the os, the os is great. Look at nokia's they are the best sellers and have the biggest share in the market and guess what?? They still use symbian.
The thing is if symbian was that bad it would have not been that popular. So although Andriod is better, symbian still is a good choice.

Just wondering WHEN this phone will be released considering the LATENESS of the X10 release time!
Also, let's hope SE puts in decent software that's NOT garbage. The company has a BAD reputation of releasing phones with Cr*ppy software that's full of bugs and takes its darn time in releasing updates to correct them!
Adding insult to injury, SE charges a PREMIUM on their phones =:(
