Android Pay is now rolling out in the US

Google is announcing that Android Pay will start rolling out in the US today. The new payment scheme was made official at Google I/O a few months back, and now it's finally becoming available.

JT, 11 Sep 2015Two months ago I got a new chip-enabled debit card from my ... moreAll credit/debit card have chips. That is silly. The chip is only used for ATM machine not mobile payment terminal. MST will stay for the long run. Its complementary to NFC payment.

      Last month I went to a Target store where payment terminals force you to use the chip and not the magnetic stripe.

      So not sure if betting on MST is a safe bet in the long run.

        Gibby, 11 Sep 2015I think you'll find Samsung's MST pay system wasn't copied ... moreMST system is way better than NFC. Work in 90% mobile payment terminal compare to NFC terminal which comprise of only 10% of all payment terminal. More phone need to have in-built MST.

            BEWARE, 10 Sep 2015Android is very sleek os. They like to steal people apps n ... moreI think you'll find Samsung's MST pay system wasn't copied but bought for when they acquired Loop Pay. It's a totally different system that doesn't rely on NFC.
            I just wish they'd get their act together and implement it in more countries than just Korea and the US. It'll make wallets redundant! Hurray! :)

                    Android is very sleek os. They like to steal people apps n make on their own. Beware all aplications makers. By sumitting to android your intellectual will be copied(samsung pay in this case)
