11 September, 2015
Sony has announced the new A7S II, the successor to last year's excellent A7S, which redefined low light photography with its incredible high ISO performance. The A7S II improved upon several key aspects while maintaining what made the original so great.

BAYAW, 13 Sep 2015Do you consider your wedding photos captured by a phone cam... moreThere is nothing wrong about taking pictures with a good mobile phone, even special occasion ones. In photography, the camera isn't the vital thing. The vital thing is the photographer behind the camera. I have took some spectacular images with my old W995, which has very limited dynamic range and options. And people couldn't tell if the pictures were taken by a professional photographer or me.
Mobile cameras have evolved so much since 2009, don't underestimate their capabilities because the important thing in photography is the photographer, period.

mir, 12 Sep 2015No. You are wrong.it may not be true for your Nokia, but some phones have the same aperture ratings and ISO similar for DSLRs however it still doesnt match the quality given by most midrange and highend SLRs. it can match the entry level models. as stated by the previous person.

Im a Canon user for the longest time, i do have a 600D, 60D and 6D mk. 1. im looking to venture using a mirrorless camera and this caught my interest.

its not like im comparing this unit with the Canon 5DS with has better or similar specs specially for low light and quality shots.

i would like to get insights but ever GSMARENA revamp the blog site. it lost all the older blogs about digital cameras. can we have it back or a seperate segments for such devices.

Guys, Lumia 1020 may do 38 Megapixels, but what is that going to give you? A detailed image in good lightning, right?

But do you realize that even the common most of DSLR with a 50mm lens already beats the 26-28mm equivalent lenses on mobile phones, in terms of detail?

              I've used both: Nokia 808 Pureview and a Canon EOS 600D with 18-135mm/ 50mm f/1.8.
And if I'm saying that DSLR's are overall superior, then I must be saying so for some reasons. Its not like either Canon or Nokia are my relatives (or enemies).

Lumia 1020 is better because it has more pixels. This one only has 12mp. And too expensive with little features. Lumia 1020 is the best.

You're not serious, right? Lumia 1020 doesn't even do 4K. Even if it does, it won't do full pixel readout.

I think the video will look better if taken with lumia 1020 which is very rich in pixels.

Nice. Need to buy a stabilizer handle to use this. Sony make great camera with outstanding ISO performance. Hope to see better exposure and shutter speed.

If you look at other camera manufacturers all their high end cameras cost more than $1000 + You can't get FF Mirrorles camera from other manufaturers.

So expesive yes but the price is still very reasonable.
