Samsung 'Project Lucky' hits Geekbench, a 3GB Galaxy S7?

14 September, 2015
It differs from the 'Lucky LTE' device we saw last week by the amount of RAM. Both use the Exynos 8890 chipset.

Project Lucky? It looks like Samsung is behind a handset which will bring back their market share as they already lost more than 50% in china alone. To sum it up they also cut off the warranty window on their phones from 2 years to 1 year. Also their handsets are NOT upto standard right now. Good luck with Project Lucky.

Samsung latest flagships didn't received well by long-time Android user. Hope the next flagships will be better.

AnonD-104517, 14 Sep 2015what z the need of 5.7" version when they are already ... moreNot today I think... This year to be precise. Same processor, only a GB of RAM extra (that is probably needed for heavier system apps so S Pen apps and extra functions could work) A user could hardly notice the difference. Screen is actually better on S6. Camera is the same. Battery is bigger but so is the screen...
It's only a matter of personal preference, if you like phablets or smartphones. As for S7 it's way too early to talk.

There is no way the S7 will have just 3GB of ram instead of at least 4GB.
I mean I'm surprised it took them as long as it did to release 4GB ram with only the Note5.

And CPU single core almost barely a hair better than being the exact same as a year old prior device? Nope.

shazii, 14 Sep 2015again copy sammy cat cames to copy sony 2 version strategy ... moreOk. Sony copied Samsung in HD video recording and playback. As well as improved camera sensors.....Oh wait...So did just about everyone else.
Doesn't Sony use Samsung chips as well?
                                Lol.
However Sony is very high in tech and the only company to be very close to Samsung objectively.
The Galaxy is still ahead thanks to Amoled and Exynos combined with the higher end software abilities.
