Kudos for Samsung for trying to innovate, but I can't see this being practical, seems like a gimmick.

i've stopped trusting samsung anymore now as they did announced such kinda screen way back somewhere in 2012-13 and then they took a vow of silence for this one... now they are coming with such a phone which surely is gonna fail with other failed "edge" projects... why cant they focus on making one perfect device than making millions of foolish devices with practically no usage and purpose?? i guess they took their galaxy naming a bit seriously so now they're gonna make as much phones as much the stars are on the real galaxy :p;)

It will create a whole new category of a hybrid phone-tablet. A trans-phablet device that can change it shape according to your desire and usages. I think this foldable device is best made with leather body material as it is flexible and foldible. That will bring about a new and more reasonable usage of leather. I bet this flexible phone will not have Corning Gorilla Glass.

samsung, tell us the benefits of a folding screen before releasing it. You made a great and useful sidescreen with note edge but you followed it with absolutely useless edges of s6-s6+.

Note Edge prototype in April 2014. Then the real Note Edge in September 2014. Next, the S6 edge in April 2015 follow by S6 edge+ by August 2015. If they display a prototype in MWC next year, we will likely to see a commercial product by September 2016.
