Putting smaller and smaller batteries and trying to make thinner phone. It seems like aesthetics are only thing they care about now. What will we do with a phone wafer thin?

When will HTC make a next Phablet about 6" no bezel.
I can't upgrade to these small screen phones as a ONE MAX user.

"Hero" for midrange maybe? Y'all cant expect htc to drop a new flagship twice a year when we all know its current flagship is M9, eventho its a total failure. Im sure htc gonna suprise us with its next flagship next year, i'll be waiting. Dont dissapoint us htc.

This can't be accurate. This doesnt sound like a "hero" device at all. Must be a few misprints...

I don't think this is the hero phone we were talking about... these are definitely not flagship specs... i guess this might be one of the mid level phones from htc... no way htc will announce a flagship with 2 gb ram and mid level processor. It will be a downgrade from m9

It is a joke for them to put 2150mAh battery on this so called Hero device. Seriously man...unless this is not the Hero phone we have been hearing about.

I quit. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has been ordered. I've been a loyal HTC Fan for ages since the Desire S days but my One M9 Vibration function is broken not to mention it gave me a shock that it wouldn't switch on for over half an hour a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to miss Sense 7 a lot but at least my new device won't overheat or break. HTC is going down hill and it's such a shame because I hate Samsung really but I feel as if it's the only competition out there against the One M9.

After reading this news and the seeing the (admittedly) rumored pictures of the Aero, even I (a massive fan of HTC) have to admit that their stock is tumbling down hard.

                      I'm not risking

AnonD-251095, 16 Sep 2015At last a Htc with an amoled screen! But the battery seems low.I was thinking the same thing. Actually the first HTC metal phone with amoled since the old Legend and the G2. Anyhow Im sold on it. Take my money. I will deal with the small battery for now lol. And i bet this is an intro to a proprer One series successor which Im sure will have bigger battery and amoled.

This is the One Max all over again, albit a bit smaller. A flagship device with 2nd devision hardware. Then they will wonder why it doesn't sell well. So my question is. Will they ever make a decent top of the range product or will they go bankrupt first?

2,150 mAh battery ? one of the smallest batteries available in a flagship device this year.

                              S6 active 3,550 mAh , Z5 Premium 3,430 , Z5 compact which isnt a flagship device has a 2,700 mAh battery !!

It seems just like any generic Chinese OEM specs now.. except the Galaxy S4 AMOLED, which is actually great news. Hope an actual flagship from HTC comes with an OLED.
