I like the new version. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max supports the live view picture-in-picture feature, which is amazing. Also, it features the mediatek chip. Good launch.

Is this the one powered by mediatek? The specs are looking decent and upgrades are nice

I like the Fire TV Stick streamer from Amazon and I'd say for the price this mediatek powered device works really well

I had both the original Fire TV and Apple TV, but got rid of the Fire TV -- it just doesn't provide as good of a user experience as the Apple box. This one doesn't seem much of an improvement, either.
