23 September, 2015
The Korean tech giant is unsurprisingly hard at work on the the successors of the Samsung Galaxy S6 product family.

didn't buy S6 as there was no SD card support. I will buy S7 if it has one. Battery life and no heating is another factor for me.

If the S7 has a SD card, good battery life and 5.5" screen i will consider upgrading from my Note 4. No SD means i will be looking at other manufacturers... GN5 is off my list as it has no SD card.

ithehappy, 24 Sep 2015If you use Android and don't root then go use iPhoneReally? There are lots of reasons an unrooted android is better than an iphone (better hardware, better cameras, no iTunes, no restrictions on apps, file explorer, usb OTG to name a few).

AnonD-364786, 24 Sep 2015Agree with you. Rumors about S7s are way too early.I too agree with you. It is way too early to talk about S7. will samsung release S7 early, like Note 5 was released? who knows...

"The Galaxy S7 family is internally known as Project Lucky"

Yes, they need luck to bounce back before it's too late. Also, cut the crap apps of yours and bring native backup option including full phone settings, app data and it's settings. I don't want to root only for this feature -_-

Just don't make it bigger or have a worse screen to body ratio. I'm sick of this current trend. I want a 2013 sized device like the S4 or G2.

Raindrop, 24 Sep 2015There will be many things changed on the S7 including the C... moreNot only that, it will have magnesium alloy unibody design with Turtle Glass. This is according to previous news. Though, the foldable display rumors, I think that is for the next Note6.

mir, 24 Sep 2015Why not call it the Galaxy S6S?Maybe because it would be slower? Snapdragon 820 is only 10% faster in single core but up to 20% slower in multicore than exynos 7420. So there would literally be moments (say during phone's updating of the apps) that S6 would be faster... it would also be the first phone "update" not to (actually) upgrade the CPU.

S (say in iphones) means "Speed", but S6S would not be a speedier S6.

Make it a 5.5" display to house a 3000mah battery.

Is it just me or does it seem like the S7 rumors are hitting way earlier this year than previous years?

Either the S6 has bombed miserably and Samsung is trying to strategically "leak" info on the S7 or people are just trying to get page views by starting the speculative hype train early.
                                      sheesh.
