Andy, 25 Sep 2015i Have HTC one (m7) . But HTC A9 is Full Copy of iPhone 6The original design with the stripes comes from the HTC One. I love both Apple and HTC but it's clear that some design elements and features from the iPhone 6 are stolen from HTC.

Flattened back, the front goes all glass without metal bezels with the speakers. HTC had a unique design language. Even with the Desire eye there was something unique. This A9 is clearly over influenced from the iPhone.

Outrageous that such a huge and influential website would say this. "Iphone-esque"? Go look at the M8 and you'll see where apple got the idea for the design of the iphone 6, they just flattened it and shifted the camera to the left.
If this is "iphone-esque" then the iphone 6 is "Htc M8-esque".

I don't like it, it looks very much like the crapple Ishown 6.
Is this how htc tries to get back on their feet? By copying design from others?
I don't care who came 1st with the design but at the moment htc in copying. I"m not an Ishown user neither a fan, but what's obvious is obvious!

it's very laughable when somebody said htc is copying a9 design from iphone!!!!!!!!!! at first htc designed an produced one M7 with that polycarbonate lines and.... then apple released iphone6 and copy htc design.i'm apple an htc fan and love bpth of them and know them most perfect and very high qulity in the world and vary better than others....
but now i have to tell you this design is innovation of htc.

i phone already copy htc before their htc one m7 and m8 concept. this concept is htc's by design. i phone copied it first.

iPhone 6 came out last year, this phone looks strikingly similar and also has a rose gold option which - surprise surprise - no one had offered in a mass produced phone before iPhone.
Just agree with this for once in your lives people, you don't always have to play the devil's advocates.

HTC started with Aluminium design from day 1 and now they are accused to copy the iPhone design. WTH can't believe it. LOL. But I know this day will come.... ha ha ha
