I have a nexus player and had a galaxy nexus. The software on both was very buggy. The only good nexus product I ever owned was the nexus 7. I pretty much avoid nexus brand at this point terrible battery life, buggy software ... they are really meant for developers only not for the general public.

Why this is running an 810 I do not know. I'd have thought Huawei would have gone with the X10 or 20 (if that's even out yet). And that black bar on the back where the camera is ruins the entire look of the phone. Looks like some sort of digital periscope when viewed directly from behind. The front design is also so neutral and bland. It seems like it could be a really decent phone depending on what screen tech they've used though. All depends on how that 810 handles.

They did this pathetic camera bump design, and I bet camera will be impresively terrible and dissapointing as it was on every single nexus device. And please Snapdragin 810 v2.1? V2.1 total bullshit scam... It will still overheat and have only 50% performance after 10 mins of usage... I hate this marketing language for noobs. And I am this much angry because I tried Nexus 6 a month ago, and sold it the next day because it was terrible comming from Huawei Ascend Mate 7. Just terrible. And I even forgot, on the same day I got it, it soft bricked after first sistem update, I spent 5hours trying to unbrick it. Just from update from 5.0 to 5.1. You can't immagine my complete outrage with Nexus 6...

To all the whiners that cry here about the new Nexuses not matching their expectations.. well... shadafukap it's still the best phones in the market for such price..
The only thing that stops me from getting any of em is the stupid phablet size: everything above 5" is a phablet... no thanks, I like to use my phone with one hand while holding it securely.

never buy nexus every time it gives one problem or the other particularly the battery. What is the use when one cant even be able to open the home screen. Every time it gets stuck at charging point. DEAD NEXUS

Huge iPhone like top/bottom bezels while having on screen buttons is just crazy. I'm not a fan of this design move... go back to the Nexus 5/6 design please.

It's shame to see the continued use of SD810 processor. Poor choice when potentially they could have gone for an Exynos processor from Samsung. I don't think the SD810 v2.1 makes any difference as far as heating is concerned. I'm extremely disappointed with my OnePlus 2 in this respect as even some basic games (e.g. Talking Tom Cat) make the phone so hot that it is uncomfortable to handle.
