This phone looks nice... but windows mobile is outdated and no flash, the camara is a joke... Just another so so phone from SE.
Many people talk against symbian but what about the crappy WM6.

Anonymous, 02 Feb 2010No info on SE Aspen's chipset? Is the model WinMo 7 ready or... moreBecause they need the boost, I think it’s likely they wouldn’t offer Windows Mobile 7 update. That way they can try to sell more phones with new OS as it’s feature.
Would be more profitable to them rather than giving “new phone” for free.

not true. They finally released a better version than xp and vista which is windows 7.

However vista is the worst OS.

As for mobile phone. I think Windows Mobile 7 will do it

No info on SE Aspen's chipset? Is the model WinMo 7 ready or not?Not a WinMo fan meself but it'd be a shame if SE shoot themselves in the foot that way, considering by that last quarterly report that they'd need all the boost from every smartphone OS on their portfolio.

reminds me of E70series, and i hope they're not trying too hard to emulate the series' success.

Is that a touch pad scroller? Hope its UI is as smart as the Emblaze Mobile First ELSE. Speaking of which, when can we see a Full Hands on review of the Israeli, Emblaze Mobile's First ELSE?

                    Touchscreen, Candybar-Qwerty, delicious design!

If this thing gets BBM type service, i'm all in! Success of this mobile depends on its pricing. Hopefully this will be priced at 400euros and lower...

i am a loyal SE user, i allways give arm and leg for them, but i simply cant back this thing. if it doesnt get really cheap, anyone who buys it is a fool. they should've put at least 2.6 inch screen with higher resolution

Anonymous, 02 Feb 2010Oh please this is a greenheart phone! But still regardless ... moreWell, we don't know the price yet, but knowing it's an SE, it must be expensive. Cheaper looking? U just say this phone is green heart, so it must be made from recycled plastic, while E72 is made from brushed metal. Now, who's the cheaper looking one? That show how ignorance of u. For design, maybe for u this is sexy, but for me is just so lame. Well, different people different taste.

I do not like SE mainly because of their use of the fastport instead of 3.5mm audio jacks, the m2 card (3 x more expensive than micro sd), and the exclusion of FM radios on smartphones. But the Aspen has a 3.5mm audio jack and unlike the X2 a FM radio, so no problems here.
I do not think this is a bad phone, and think SE is moving in the right direction if they get their pricing right.
