Doesn't matter whether a company is cash motivated or any other (actually, they'd be fools not to be looking for profit).
The main issue here is not pricing, it's that the specs are clearly not worth the prices.
Even with a huge difference between US and EU pricing, I would consider buying if that ware actually a compelling phone, which neither the 6P nor the 5X are.

Am bored ridged with googles b.s,they just another bunch of greedy bread head Yankees only interested in more cash,pity their products are such utter pap.
Why sign up to a Google service,it will only close next year when they get bored with it,how many Google products or services are still running 6 years after introduction and that's if they work properly or at all outside n America ?.
Google = boring,dull copycats...

My old nexus 5 does not need replacement yet. It is getting better from every update. It has already improved on performance, battery and camera since 2013 :) New nexus will have to wait for a year, I will prob buy a used one for 200 EUR. You won't believe what people do: they buy new phone and resell it same week, but for half a price :)

I probably go for the S6 rather than this phone. It is too expensive for the performance.
