Anyways, yes, it´s called CHOICE. If you try to think with your brain instead of letting Apple tell you what it is, you´ll easily be able to tell that having such a huge array of options will have pros and cons, just like having 3 devices to choose from every year does. You tell yourself choice is irrelevant and concentrate on the things Apple tells you are important. Good sheepboy.
2) You didn´t even understand what I was talking about, clearly. Google Calendar, Chrome, Google Photos, Google Maps, Google Earth, Google Keep, Google Music... All of those apps and more are standard Android apps, apps that users don´t need to wait for a system update to see the latest version. Apple users can´t say the same thing.

What you call fragmentation I call choice. You are probably happy having a portfolio of 3 devices total, where all you can choose from is size and finish, paying insane amounts for. Other people, average users, can perfectly live with a Motorola Moto G, even if they don´t get Android M, but they get a phone that covers their needs for a reasonable prize.
The kernel? Really??? So desperate to get your point across? Average users dont even know what a kernel is, they see the same Google Play, the same music, Chrome, keyboard, clock... It´s all available to them if so they choose, making for a very consistent experience across Google Apps.
2) Now, right there I just can´t believe you are an IT professional. NOBODY wants to be on the latest version of software. Corporations only move to stable and properly (extensively) tested versions. As in months of testing before you jump. If you are a developer tailoring your apps to an upcoming OS release, it instantly makes you a niche kind of professional. The vast majority of corporations will always trade features in favor of stability. That´s why corporations use RedHat, not Fedora, that´s why Debian is such a success, that´s why most corporations are 1 if not 2 versions behind the latest Microsoft offering. When you are a professional, features take a backseat to stability and reliability... But please, don´t lose sight of what we are talking about here, iOS on an iPhone... The new features are most often gimmick, but bugs and stability problems are not, as so many users have experienced in recent releases.
3) Yes, exactly, you are just stressing my point. Android 4.1+ is now roughly 92% of the Android user base. Whoever has not changed a device since the Gingerbread days is meaningless in this discussion, as an iPhone 2 user would be. Btw, Apple users suffer this same problem, with applications being capable of delivering certain features only on the latest hardware. Apple maps was a great example, now so is 3D Touch, etc... Plus regressions in performance and battery life as versions increase have been all over the place lately. iOS8 and 9 have been great on very up to date hardware, but often terrible on older versions.
Again, the fact that you don´t include choice and freedom as one of the strongest elements to Android shows a lot. To your list I will add wireless charging, removable batteries, external storage, hardware customization from the likes of Motorola and OnePlus, a much better cloud integration by Google and its apps and more and price.
The OS optimization is becoming irrelevant as time goes by. Android phones today don´t show lag or stuttering anymore. The latest flagships all match the latest iOS experience in terms of responsiveness. It´s getting to a point that only by running tests on an iPhone and a Android phone one can tell where they behave differently.

Others prefer freedom, and dont like paying for anything at all. I do this because I have a boring job which gives me alot of free time, lol it keeps me entertained playing with the droidboys emotions.

On SOME Android pages, it is very seldom to see iOS people commenting , but on EVERY iOS page, there are always Android people. Stop shoving your devices on us. It is our preference to use iOS because it suits our smartphone needs and gives us the experience that we want, and we don't ask a penny from you to buy our devices.

Hence when they do incorporate it, it works better than it ever has on Android. This has been proven time and time and time again. in other words they take your functionality and show you how it should have been done in the first place, but no droids wanted to rush it out...
2. What you still doing with iOs 8 and 9? Get with the times.iOS users more the most part dont stick to older versions ;) they dont need to hope they get updates.
3. See what a fast turn around time to fix is?
4. Experienced by few.
5. Unity, does not belong to Apple. And a region specific prob vs a global android problem? try again.
6. This problem again experienced by a few, and personally I have never encounterd such on my iPhone and iPad mini 3 and iPad air 2.
7. Effective power bug was resolved in days so again, wtf?
8. There is no eco system on planet earth that can come close to that which Apple provides. So no, there is factually NO ALTERNATIVE.

A study by Crittercism found that the rate at which applications crashed in their tests was 3.56% on iOS 8, higher than the 2% found on iOS 7.1.[35]
On September 24, 2014, the iOS 8.0.1 release crippled iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus of Touch ID and cellular.[36] The update was released at 9:00 AM PST, and approximately at 11:00 AM PST, Apple removed the update due to these problems, as well as other minor issues. A day later, Apple released iOS 8.0.2 which contains all the fixes included with iOS 8.0.1 and also fixes the problems that iOS 8.0.1 introduced.[37]
There are currently some unfixed Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and battery issues. There is still no official statement from Apple about the issues that will be fixed in the future.[38]
On March 9, 2015, the date iOS 8.2 released, many users, mainly from East Asia, reported missing characters in games after upgrading to 8.2. Many game developers were confused about the possible cause, as the problem was arbitrary. The problem was later found to be related to the change of font location, and Unity, a game engine powering such games, fixed the bug.[39]
On April 8, 2015, Apple Inc. released iOS 8.3 and on the next day, many iPhone and iPad Air 2/iPad Mini 3 users reported on Apple Support Communities and Reddit that after upgrading to iOS 8.3, they have completely lost the ability to use Touch ID in the App Store. Instead of a prompt to verify their fingerprint before purchasing or downloading any new app, the App Store asked affected users to enter the password of their Apple ID. Disabling and re-enabling Touch ID for App Store has not solved the issue for the affected users, and at the moment, there is no solution to this problem.
On May 27, 2015, a serious bug, known as the "effective. Power" bug, was widely publicized which causes a crash upon receiving a specific text message.[40] This flaw has been exploited for the purpose of trolling, by intentionally causing others' phones to crash.[41] The bug was fixed in iOS 8.4.[42]
But I agree that Apple targets emotions and is effectively a cult for some. The fact that people like you act like its weird for Apple users to look at android pages and vice versa is testament to that. Apple have created an environment where you don't think there is even a substitute to Apple products. Gotta hand it to their marketing team.

Dont come with your rooting BS, 99% of the population dont want to root let alone void their warrenty. And also, what crack are you on? Android has infinatly MORE issues. and they last years! With every Android release there are a few gimmicks which serve no real purpose anyways. You see iOS targets your emotions, it's the way you feel when using the device. It's a little something called user experience. That is why people fall inlove with their Apple products, note how I didnt just say iOS. Of course I dont blame Droidboy's for not knowing this, as they have never had the pleasure. A quality user experience is unknown to droidboy's. Should you beg to differ, first do you homework before replying ok?

The other day a friend of mine was showing me pictures on his Samsung Galaxy s5. I was shocked to see how long would take for the phone to rotate a picture from portrait to landscape. Rotating the phone, the screen would become blank and stay blank for several seconds until the picture appears. I've also noticed the phone was slow in everything. Opening a movie would also turn the screen blank and had to wait at least 10 seconds before the movie starts. It seems last years flagship likes to go blank each time you try to do something. Is that a touch wiz feature, a bug or android? Not sure. But for a phone that came with a price tug of 650 dollars when was released in my country is just an insult. Sorry android friends. Even my old iPhone 4s on iOS 9 can instantly rotate a picture or start a video.

Android doesn't have nearly the same amount of issues. The only actual issue was stage fright and that wasn't an actual security issue as there were other securities in place anyway.
Apple may have even put those bugs intentionally, so one update feels like 10 updates, and some feel like they get loads of support.
