Staff at t-mobile UK have had their demo and intro to the Xperia X10 and expect it to launch within the next two or three weeks, assuming no probs.

when I last emailed Sony Ericsson to check, they said the phone will be released in Mar. until the final announcements of its release, nothing is for sure.

So no need to wait long.
And know thru some website that the OS will eventually upgraded to 2.x at later time, so software also settled.
The last concern is $$$. I wish it cost (with or without contract) not higher than Eye-Phone.

I spoke to someone at Virgin Mobile UK and they said they will be selling it in April. The phone looks amazing.

I am wondering does SE wanna place a high price tag, so to show it is their best phone ever (& to cever their R&D/Manufacturing cost), but only small population of people can affort,
OR offer a reasonable low price tag, to gain back their market share (instead of rush for profit).
If SE go for the 2nd option, I believe that people who ever own SE phone before (especially few years ago when SE phone very popular), will willing to give them a try again.

I was wanting one of these phones actually on Vodafone as well... Unfortunately this is too little too late for Sony Ericsson and in my opinion it will have missed its chance come April and will instead be facing some strong and probably too tough competition from the other manufacturers.

It is slow, buggy, comes out with Android 1.6, never gonna get 2.0, only 65 colors, cheap plastic, gonna be postponed forever. Don't trick people into buying it! Go for any other brand instead!

The problem is their custom interface... They have no idea how to optimise it properly. X1 and X2 are fine examples...

I still LOVE this phone! Damn! That stylish sleek design and such flashy interface is awesome!! I read a LOT of reviews saying the User Experience of this phone is by far the best! So I'm so gonna totally wait for this baby! It's sooo much more awesome than those boring and totally the SAME samsung lg nexus or whatever! Seriously, they're all the same! Their interface is boring and I'm sure you guys will regret buying it instead of waiting for this baby! Who knows, this could be released this month or next month.... But as for me, this is totally worth it! Especially with that design!
