YiSpector malware: Apple says issue was already fixed in iOS 8.4

Just a day after US-based cybersecurity firm Palo Alto Network released details of the newly-discovered YiSpecter malware, Apple issued a formal statement on the matter, effectively suggesting that the malware isn't a major threat.

        Malware can exist on any platform. One advantage of iOS is that once a patch is released, iPhones can receive the update immediately. Not so for non-Nexus Android phones.

        In other news, Porsche has gone with Apple's CarPlay because they said Google requested too much user private data:

How long does it then take to get that fix out to a majority of users? How does that compare to this case?

            I bet you there's a good chance this was a pretty fast turnaround.

                      if this kind of issue happen in android, it will be fixed after 1 months (or more, for non-nexus devices)

The turn around time for a fix was therefore fast. And that's he's point, that malware that does pop up gets squashed quickly and efficiently. So this completely negates your entire statement.
