dont buy LG phones in the Philippines coz they dont have a service center in any of the malls. they are just drop off point. dealers will tell you that you have to wait for two months before they could return your phone. their one and only service center is in pasig.

Well this gw990 is really phone for pro's, it's reall computer phone just like n900, but we shall hear in future about it's power consumption, it's because it has a notebook CPU in it, and they don't seem to bee thet much economic.

Why does it need so much power, it must be really slow software, poor programming or something. Wife uses LG, totally sucks and she agrees.

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2010lg is one of the biggest and fastest growing phone company.... moreYou have your facts totally wrong. LG is actually the SLOWEST growing in terms of in the mobile market. They are progressing nicely with Monitors and TV market but not mobile. Tell me, how many people you see outside using a LG phone? I live in the US and RARELY see one...say 1/50 people will have a LG phone. Their phones really SUCK all my friends used to have one, they all kicked it to the curb and bought Nokia, SE, HTC and/or Samsung. They revolutionize tech? you're kidding me lol...

lg is one of the biggest and fastest growing phone company. and while "giants" like HTC and Samsung are still stuck on Snapdragon, lg comes out with something so revolutionary that it blows away all compitition, a smartphone with the processor of a netbook. lg has proven that it has evolved and is a much different company than what it was five or six years ago. GO LG!!!

The LG GW990 is powered by Intel Moorestown, not Pineview guys.

I have no idea how LG phone are today and if they have improved from when i last tried one out for a couple of weeks, the LG Arena, and i was not impressed at all, it was one of the laggiest piece of software i have i even used. I hope LG has improved on that software for their own sake.

if only LG is generous enough to put a xenon flash and make it a dual sim, it will be a big hit!
