How can it be Opera Mini?
The iPhone doesn't run Java applications, are you sure it's not a version of Opera Mobile?
Flash is so important for business, it is imperative that business users can access Farmville.
Flash is so bad for performance that the new release candidate 3 of Firefox for Maemo has disabled it.

iHateiPhone, 10 Feb 2010iPhone has some decent games and the graphics are good. But... morehi5 for u men. i had iphone too and its only like an ipod touch with a cam and simcard. nothing more. nothing special. nothing less.
about the app store, yes, it has plenty of apps. and most of it are useless. so really, i regret buying this overpriced phone which i think worth spending all this money to a nokia phone which is really "useful" feature packed phone.

iPhone has some decent games and the graphics are good. But i'm not talking about games. I'm telling you about the quality and built of the iPhone. Camera quality. Playing a video quality, can't connect to the computer without iTunes. Thats what p!ss's me off and you c*nts who think your better than every body else.

Say what u like I really don't care. I don't need to screenshot sh!t search for it yourself sweetheart. A phone that has
no flash support,
out of date camera features,
sh!t video editing (trying to copy symbian)
no memory card slot (yeah but it has 32GB ONLY but the N900 and N97 has 32GB AND memory card slot!)
no mass storage/file manager,
POOR battery,
320 x 480 pixels stretched to fit 3.5 inches so we can see those beautiful pixels when watching a film
and plenty more faults is the one and only iPhone

The Appstore is not what made the iPhone successful, the fact it can be had for 49-299 is what made it's sales growth. Apple wouldn't have sold any where near as many iPhones, if it was 600-700 for each phone. The appstore may have helped but the lower price is the biggest boost.
That said Apple better do something if they want sells to increase, more & more people are jailbreaking, & they are doing it for Apps that Apple won't allow in the appstore. A lot of these apps are not free either, so it's not to get free stuff.

If your app isn't approved by Apple than do it for ANDROID!!! Anyway most of Apple apps are useless and only a few are usefull. People keep bragging about how many apps Apple has, what are they for? Don't you think quality is better tha quantity? UNLEASH THE POWER OF ANDROID!!

And trolling posts aside, I'm glad the iphone is getting this browser, as it works really well on my N86. Multi touch zoom coupled with the speed of it should make an exciting experience.

But as many good ones as the iphone? No. You can bleat on all you like about how most apps are rubbish, but then it's also true that any app that your Nokia/SE/Samsung has, I can quote several better ones for the iphone. Sure, other phones have app stores, but they are SO WELL BEHIND Apple in this respect it is incredible. Sure, Android and WinMO are great OS, but they have a long way to go to match Apple's success here. I was making a point about the app store being great, not saying that the iphone only gets them, Mm'kay?

Opera hasn't submitted it's browser to Apple for approval and you can rest assured that Apple isn't going to approve it when Opera does!

Every time there is an article on here to do with an iProduct I see people moaning about how it's crap. Obviously either never had an iPhone, or have and never used it to it's full potential! One word: Jailbreak...
I still have all the awesome features of a regular iPhone, along with multi-tasking, flash support, bluetooth file transfer, free internet tethering, WIRELESS free internet tethering, free porn downloadable straight to the handset, free movies/music straight to the handset, every single app from the app store FREE, apps from other sources free, nintendo and playstation emulators, mass storage, I really could go on, and on... and on...
Oh, and also, "iHateiPhone", you've definately not had an iPhone before. You can create a playlist on the go. It's in the playlist section, and it's a playlist called "On The Go".

Ok, back to the topic.
Well, having another browser for the MEphone is a good thing because you have another option apart from the Safari. But is it really good or better than the Safari?
If the Opera Mini is indeed better than the Safari, it can only mean one thing... Sorry, I'll just go straight to the point, really! :)

I also have the N900 and the Iphone 3gs and my N900 is my phone of choice and I gave my girldriend my Iphone 3gs because the N900 offers more to me and far as user friendly and the iphone so much better and that sense is a load of crap. Far as flash on a device is awesome and for those who is always complaining about it is doing so because either they don't have it or never had it. I truly feel I have a all in one device with this N900 no more apps for this or that and spending money to get it. Even the you tube client and the iphone fails alot but not n my N900.

Nice name, it suggests you dont actually have the 3GS, or are a business user.
And you're comparing two totally different styled phones and target markets. Personally I prefer the Nokia E72 to the Blackberry with an unlimited data contract. But then that's a business minded phone, not an easy accessable mass market device like the iphone.
I'll give you the memory card argument, but Divx and xvid? Enjoy converting your movies from multiple formats! File manager? Not needed with the iphone OS. Mass Storage? I'm unsure what you mean. 32gb is not enough?
The iphone owes it's success to the App store. Yes, there are a lot of apps out there, but the quality ones rise to the top and are noticeable. Push messaging? There's an app. Photo editing? App. PSP standard Gfx? Check out the games.
There's so much more to the iphone than just it's specs. :)
