People are confusing 3D touch with that thing on Android where you long press on an icon to delete it or place an icon on home screen.
This is way diiferent people. There is no press and hold mechanism here. 3D touch is about pressure applied not for long it is applied.
Btw good work Samsung, you shouldn't feel shameful of your work. We all know you have been doing it since the start, no point in acting all ignorant. Wonder when other companies would jump on this 3D touch bandwagon, google included(by bringing native support for 3D touch in anroid).

Anyway, Samsung is just a vendor, nothing else and as we can see this year, they cant even make processors for Apple correctly! TSMC i doing much much better job even with slightly bigger process! Now back to vendor subject,,,, do you know that Samsung relies on other Korean vendors as well? I bet you didnt, becase ur one of those blind fa-nboys! Read some business sites before coming up with comments like this

Samsung patented this in early 2014. So they are just implementing after Iphone, anyways both of these are great phones.

Yes but for many,even a 20 thousand phone is same as samsung S6,or sony HTC flagships,
besides..buying heavy cost mobile is mostly for status symbol only na,thankfully i will buy my iphone next year because i use mobile only for normal simple tasks,which iphone do.

Hahahahahahahahaha. Firstly those who say long press can emulate 3D Touch, yeah, they've never used it. Lol secondly those who say it's a gimmick? Have tried the existing Android offerings and not iOS. Third this is hilarious, but Samsung never fails to imitate.

There is no point in buying samsung or any other mobile phone if u can afford Iphone easily.
Main reason being the few things that most buyers need are present in both with Apple being top notch recognized product among many.
My friend bought HTC one M8 eye for 38k INR and that piece is now at 28..he would have easily put 10 k and bought Iphone 6 a that time.

If Samsung implements feature Apple has they are a copycat. But if they don't then they are lagging behind.
It's very typical that companies copy each other. So that users don't feel like they are missing out on some features while considering said company's offering.

I think Galaxy Note has that kind of technology at least in S pen writing since Note 2 or 3 . what ever .
