Apple found guilty of patent infringement, faces $862 million in damages

A US jury has found Apple guilty of infringing a patent owned by the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s licensing arm in its iPhone 5s, 6, and 6 Plus smartphones, as well as several iPad versions.

    .., 14 Oct 2015I'm actually curious.. Why would you say so? Can you explain?:DUS tend to act to benefit US corporations, because of a biased jury. Even Obama stepped in and vetoed a court decision (but that's sort of different, he probably wouldn't have done it for a foreign company though).
    But Intel was sued over the same thing so it may not be so easy for Apple to get away with it. Plus in this case both sides are American so its not too relevant i guess.

So, if you said you are not guilty but you are guilty anyway, that mean double the fines. Apple in denial. Is it so hard to admit they are copying. I hope this case get drag till next year. I want to see Apple suffer with stress.

                                      Not that it'll make a damn bit off difference to them but it's nice to see them get a taste of their own medicine. But like some of you have said they'll probably not end up paying a penny. Shame they don't put that money to use to R&D a better camera. Green hues everywhere :/
