Most manufacturer can't get rid of those big bezel so they tend to look like a 5.7" instead. Just imagine how big a 5.7" with big bezel. It is ugly and same size like a tablet. 6inch is too much too. Tablet size start at 7inch so it will be ridiculous. 6 to 7 inch is only 3cm difference. Too close. 5.5inch is perfect. 5.7 is also perfect if it have slim bezel like Note5.

And there are devices above the 5.5 inch barrier.
Even Meizu has one I believe. At least Xiaomi does. The have the Mi Note Pro.
Samsung has many. Check for the Galaxy Mega at 5.8 and 6.3 inches. They don't go bigger than those mate. The 6.3 looks like a tablet already.
And if you are really interested in a good affordable 'big' phone, check the Huawei Mate 7.

Manufacturers seem stuck on 5.5" display, why can't some come out with larger ones -5.7"(there are people who need/like it large).

Oddly uniform design with no plastic stripes. Never expect this from a metal phone. I wonder how they do it.

            looks promising...
shoud be under 13k considering redmi note 2's price....
