LG finally got a device right after a long time

Front facing speakers make so much sense, in fact on a cell phone speakers should have been front facing all along, not sure which Idiot put them on back/side to begin with!!!

I like LG and in fact many of their products and I would not normally say this but this phone looks like one hell of an ugly block. We will look at some of these devices in the not so distant future, like we do some of the buildings from the 60's. "Eye sores"

180$ is actually expensive for the process. when all there doing is removing the metal parts and running it through , more then likely an MRC. vacuum, plasma etch so the gold will bond to the smooth metal , followed by probably 12 passes under the AU target would leave a very nice gold finish. used to do stupid stuff like this when i was bored at work . the actual materials cost to do this would be around 10$. figuring the cost of argon, the electrical consumption of both the roughing pump and the high vacuum pump to bring the chamber into the 1.0*10-6 range. and the cost of the amount of AU actually applied. But all in all dont know labor costs or anything in vietnam. so i would say reasonable would be around 100$ for mark up. but then again its a vanity thing so i guess 180$ is reasonable.

The gold treatment is only for popular phone or what?

Why they dont add sony phones?

I find the cost pretty reasonable compared to the iphones and their category.
