In, lets say, LA or SF in USA the minimum salary required for living is 5k$, while in China it might only be 500$. But sure, it is easier to put the tinfoil hat on than think logically.

But the true customizability and unleashing the hardware potential can happen only if you root, unlock boot loader, install custom recovery.
Try rooting your phone and remove all the bloatware, you will see the performance improvement immediately

Anonymous, 15 Oct 2015s..but root needednot at all. I have been living with an unrooted android for a year now and never felt like rooting it anytime. it's really improved a lot and is having a ton of features now.
