Notification did stop after battery saver kick in. But that already explained in the Battery Settings itself. Other than that, I never lost any notification of Whatsapp, emails, messaging, or any notifications. But then again, maybe you right. Your issue is not impossible to happen. Have you try to contact your service care? Or at least reflash your phone with latest original firmware of that phone? I don't know whether it will help or not though.
Oh, and, when your notification actually stop working, try to browse some pages using IE to check whether you have connection issue. My 520 sometimes locked at idle session where it appears to be connected to 3G when it's actually not. This issue isn't only bugging internet connection. Telephone connection also affected (I cannot call anyone and always get call drop). I have to restart the device to make it work again. I suspect that this is a driver issue and since my 520 is considered old phone (more than 2 years since it launched), I don't think there will be any fix to this.
And about W10 Mobile, let them work on it until it reach release version around December. By then, let the market decide whether it is a worthy replacement for people phones or not.

CD and DVD rental is way better than buying pirated version. Beside, what technology exist to replace DVD anyway. Blu Ray? Illegal download? DVD will stick around for a very long time. Yeah, I heard of Japanses Galapagos syndrome. They evolved separately from the rest of the world. Its like a parallel universe where everyone prefer flip phone and basic phone over the smartphone we have today. It is kind of backward but we considered it as a culture thing. They are famous for their plastic flip phone. Smartphone seem to not evolved at all in Japan. On the bright side, feature phone evolved very well in Japan. They call this phone as garakei. Modern garakei evolved just like smartphone. More durable, waterproof and longer battery life. Except their form stays as a basic/flip phone. Like I said, their technology evolution is very isolated that it is almost like a parallel universe.

I live in japan and maybe they have some technology that is considered advanced but in general consumer market its like 5-10 years backwards. they still have CD, DVD rentals and it's main way of getting media (movies, music) here. Actually Japanese "Galapagos" phones may have been advanced for that time but it was some years ago. Now Japan is dominated by Apple's iPhone (~70% market share) and has some small (~20-30%) android market share. There is no windows phone market to speak of.. there was one or two windows phones on market but they didn't catch up and I don't think Windows Mobile has any chance to market in Japan. Because Japanese mentality to use what other people around use that is iPhone, and Japan is country that doesn't accept changes easily.

They are too advanced for us. Btw, Vaio is Sony. Ever heard of Sony laptop? No, because they are branded as Vaio. If Vaio make smartphone, it will look everything like a Sony.

At first, I thought you complaining about WP... morei am on wp 8.1, the link i posted to show that bug is still there in wp 10. would you help me in solving the problem or still bash things up.? wp also has ring+vibration problems. it vibrates before ringing, then only rings without any vibration until ring is complete.

Isn't that a beta version? As far as I recall, W10 Mobile has not released to the masses yet. Have you ever learn that you should never use beta on your daily driver?
FYI, iOS was full of bugs in their beta release. Android was full of bugs in their beta release. But no one ever complained about it. Because those who use beta releases already know the consequences. Unlike you... :3

and i am asking for help from various windows fans but no one wants to help. was using android from past 2.5 years. there are many other problems. but notifications are utmost important.
