The only problem with Blu is that they abandon these phones upon release. I seriously doubt that the older Blu Studio Energy will see 5.0/5.1 (let alone Android 6.0), since they released pretty much the same phone with Android 5.0/5.1. I'm surprised that people don't mention this in Amazon reviews.

just dont add too much bloat and if BLU maintains 95% same as stock android then they can sell these in large numbers.

I have been trying to get them in to the UK for the last 18months but they wanted way too much in terms of volume required to sell there phones, it was not worth the margin in the end pity. That being said, I went to another brand and they had just a lot more common sense than #BLU management did to make a deal work.

I'd like to mention that this and all BLU phones are also available in Europe as Allview phones and available in other countries as Gionee phones. They are exactly the same, the only difference is that different "brands" tailor their phones to the region's GSM bands.

BLU has my affection for caring so much about battery life with their recent devices.

              Someone had to do something.

You're better off with a J5 instead of the 179$ blue energy 2, where I live the J5 is at 180-185$ and comes with sd410 along with an impressive selfie cam with flash. as for the other option at 109$ it's very nice indeed, the price is great for what it offers.

The skin look like android jelly bean. Why they use that outdated skin. No original lollipop skin?
