Anonymous, 23 Feb 2010and you use android because? I still didnt get an answer.Because I have been using the brand which offers the best reception and voice quality in the market, which is "not" Apple for sure.

I tried this brand's Symbian phones...first one was fine (even to-date), except the old style charger plug started to fail. The 2nd Symbian phone from the brand often reboot itself (without any program installed), so I gave it up as well.

I also tried 2 WM phones from the same maker. One based on 6.0, which was fine except when I view Youtube, the screen could hardly catchup with the actual motion. Then I had another phone with WM6.1, and Microsoft told me either I had to choose the Chinese OS (which I can hardly manage), so I can view Chinese websites / characters properly, or I've to get the English OS but NOT able to view Chinese websites/characters. How silly? And yes, I sold that unit too.

Then comes my Android phone, which allows me to surf on the web and do almost everything "without reading the manual". My colleague (being a lady who knows nothing about these PHONES stuff) was also able to manange to use the phone without reading any manual as well. Of course the brand offers better voice quality than my wife's iphone. (yes, she uses 2 phones, as her other one offers Crystal Talk technology and I can always hear what she says even in noisy environment)

Can't even recall where is the "back" button on WM phones.

I just think every other brand is better than the almighty brand, period.

If the almighty brand becomes the only brand to make mobile phones in this world, I'd rather not use any mobile phone at all....but chances are if such day ever comes, much better communication devices than mobile phones should be available.

jasdeep, 22 Feb 2010hey man u hav named almost every category of ppl then what ... moreLol, that was a really sad explanation.. you are right and everybody else running the world is wrong.. professionals need to schdule, organize, e-mail and sync more in one day that you do in year..

Nokia can instant pushmail from 10 different e-mail providers at the same time including your work mail.. Blackberry can only pushmail BIS, their own e-mail which you need to subscribe to.. I have a Blackberry 9700 as well so don't give me that nonsense..

Nokia is most productive worktool in the world. Nothing you say matters as long as Nokia keeps getting the heaviest awards for their productivity.

In 2008 Nokia E71 pulled home the 3 biggest awards in the handset business at the Mobile Choice Awards, "Mobile of the year" and "Smartphone of the year" .. N82 got the "Best Imaging Device" at the TIPA "The Camera Oscars".

Just recently 4 months back the Nokia N86 repeated that feat and took home the same award.

                    etc etc

Nokia pull that of with a phone that costs half the money a Iphone 3G did. No go suck on a lillipop.

wife - has been using iphone 3G for over 18 months now, still quite happy with it. No plan to get 3GS at all.

manager - has been using iphone 3G for over 18 months now, still quite happy with it. No plan to get 3GS at all. (she used to switch phone at least every 3~6 months)

ex-boss - has been using iphone 3G, got 3GS as he transferred his 3G to his family. (he used to switch phones every 3~6 months)

friend - has been using almighty 5310 and start to look into iphone 3GS.

Just my own observation (not representing anything), Apple isn't really going after its "existing" customers, as most don't seem to have much reasons to "upgrade" from 3G to 3GS. Nevertheless, there are millions of others out there who are "not" iphone users, and Apple is going after these people.

When I got the iphone 3G with my wife, the shop provide a list of "cannot do" for iphone before we signed the contract, yet after she tried a demo unit, she felt in love with the phone and all the "cannot do" no longer become her concerns.

Many here, who are likely tech oriented, always say iphone lacks this and that, and it can't beat other phones in this and that areas. However, they seldom recognize Apple's success...the simple UI which makes things easy for NON-TECH oriented people.

Just like some people may think professional drivers should drive stick-shift, though don't forget most people do want things the easy way by driving automatics.

I'd say the "market" has swtiched from cam focus to apps focus these days. Otherwise why the almighty brand is emphasizing so much on its OVI stores? (being copycat of App Stores for Apple)
