I am myself as a Sony user since day one, very impressed by Microsoft's new phones. I do have a plan to buy the 950.

I just hope they keep on improving and not becoming lazy.

Had Omnia7, Lumia 800, Lumia 900, Lumia 920, Lumia 1020 and now I use Lumia 930. Windows phone was the best thing that could happen to me (gadget related)
I always thought that WP needs a chance. And I was right. They keep surprise me in good way with any cheap or flash grip release. Lumia 640 (145 Euros) that my wife is using works better then a 250 Euros Android phone. Is smooth, no lag and is cheap... I can't wait to get my hands on 950xl. I think WP is the best price-quality choice on the market.

I'm leaning towards getting it. for business, it should hook up nicely to my W10 Laptop so in some ways it makes sense to go this phone. They will talk to each other, tiles are improved, it is amoled and I believe you can finally download a T9 keyboard for messaging. Though I do not know if we can make it the default on the phone. It is a personal thing but find the T9 faster and more efficient with men's fingers with more space.

I never thought I would say this but I am really impressed with the windows 10 eco system.
For the 1st time I am stuck on the fence between updating my 2012 phone to either a new droid or w10.

                    Question
Does anyone know if you can have the home screen on a windows 10 mobile without all the tiles on the home screen? I would rather have my own pic than have a screen of tiles. The next screen is ok

Makes me exited... But this time i think i have to wait the next Microsoft Phone. The Man behind Surface pros Panos Panay is newly incharge of the phone division as well. So the next phone will be a flaship killer that everyone wants to buy one

Love what Microsoft has produced this year. From phones to surface book.
Just one back draw very less apps to offer.

It started to come together nicely. Universal apps run across all Windows 10 devices (PC, Surface devices, laptops, tablets, Xbox, Windows 10 mobile, Hololens). Text messaging from Windows 10 is already showing up in last build. Windows 10 is a service. All the devices running on it will work nicely together.

I really do like the idea brought by microsoft this year..
                                  1. The concept of continuum is really good, esp in corporate world.. Hope it gets utilized.. since most of them ,even engineers, work on remote end servers so no need of heavy laptops just a putty/equivalent should be fine..
                                  2. Specs are pretty much good when compared to present gen competition.. T
                                  3. The dedicated camera button is something I really root for..
                                  4. SD card slot, FM radio(esp since the 3g/4g network in my locations is very bad)
                                  5. CBD display..

The only few things that stops me going for it is :
                                  1. The cost(was wishing they would be cheaper just to kickstart the product).
                                  2. UI change allowed(Not sure if possible), text Feels cluttered when using some apps/settings (could be because i do not use Windows phone often or more like I use a low end windows phone)
3.The Apps support when compared to android.. I really wish now there is significant improvement in the apps store for windows phones(Preferably free apps :)) ..
                                  4. Do not discontinue their product line in the future..

Somehow this year I do not see any benefits brought by Google or Apple from h/w or s/w pov.. Last year it was apple's continuity and the year before it was Googles nexus 5..
But the Microsoft's continuum has really intrigued me..

This is what happens when you make a No Compromise Flagship. People love it. Never thought I'd say this but nice work Microsoft, keep it up! Hope you get some decent sales from this duo.

' til now here in Brazil, the high end Nokia/Microsoft prices are above Samsung and Apple devices. The middle in true. And we hope this time to see this competitions prices again. Remember the windows OS is the second one here and counting
