would have been better if they made the display 4:3, so it won't be too tall with the keypad out but still good for reading and emails while accommodating a wider keyboard.

Nah.. won't work. While typing, its like a super huge phone with the distance between the search bar and the keypad not feasible for even the 'big-handed' customers. Even in the promo video, the person is facing difficulty to use the search bar on top of the phone.

Looks good, but they will price if high and again most used won't be able to try. They should also make budget phones..

AnonD-112130, 17 Oct 2015It's 2mpThat depends on who you believe, a retailer (Car Phone Warehouse) who will be selling the phone, but probably has not seen it in the flesh yet or taken too much notice of the phones specs, and just sees it as another device to add to its catalogue to sell to the buying public.
Or a site (derstandard.at) that has had actual hands on (though brief) experience with said device.
I know who I'm likely to believe.

You are right in saying that a horizontal keyboard is better for typing and believe me, the tech persons at Blackber4y know this very well. But if you want to type a business letter, then only vertical keyboard is perfect. Blackberry users were waiting for such a device fro. A long time. This is basicly a business pbone and a perfect one .

Such a nice phone, wasted at such super niche ideas. I wish it was the same minus the keyboard and Id be getting it so hard. That tiny screen bezel..

A cra... moreI'm a blackberry Passport Silver Edition user and this phone not heavy or thick it has presence and like everything about it, don't buy it if you think it's thick and heavy. Damn it feels lovely to type without looking at the keyboard on a blackberry
