Intel will be like samsung or Tmsc today, so A10 will be build into Intel fab.So it's still ARM designed by Apple.Read the article carefully

Interesting. Although other rumors indicate that Apple is developing its own custom RF chips in-house now for use in future iPhones.

All driven by Samsungs success with their latest 14nm Exynos chips?
But aside from LTE modem chips then Intel will now give up on their Atom chips and instead make the custom ARM chips that Apple designs? hehe.

A9 chip a failure. Now, Apple begging for Intel help. Nice going Tim Cook. What next? Iphone 7 runs on Windows? Apple finally accept defeat?

wait for iPhone 7 with intel 64bit.

Intel Produce Much Better processor than Apple Processor.

                          Apple just admitted this?

lol, 17 Oct 2015Hmm, I doubt Intel would allow others to use their fabs. Not until now... But when you do the math, you will realize how profitable this could be for Intel.
P.S.current prices are ~8000-10000$ per wafer (depends on effective yield)

I had a Moto RAZR i (X-890) with an Intel processor a few years ago. Really nice phone. Pretty snappy and good battery life. The latter is where Intel could make a diff with the iPhone because their laptop processors are getting really good. (Typing this on a 2015 MacBook Pro 13" with an i5 processor that gives it about 8 hours - good enough for me!)
